If (a person who will remain nameless) imposes a 25% tariff on Canadian built vehicles coming into the United States. Who will cancel their order or decide not to order or purchase a new 2019 MKX? walkabout Posted September 10, 2018 Report Share Posted September 10, 2018 There is also another threat to Nautilus process that is noteworthy - the disparity between the MKX and Edge pricing is gotten huge. The Edge can now be had with the 2.7t and all the gizmos for about $12,000 less than an mkx reserve (that's around LA per carsdirect). The value equation isn't really there anymore, tariffs or not. One quarter to one half of American car's get parts from overseas. Those parts are going to cost more. So who's he really helping out? Not you and me who will pay more for nearly everything. The problem is you can only get the 6 Cylinder with the Edge sport model and not fitted out as well as The Titanium model.
