Sorry, in the old days maybe, but as the new cars have gone from simple mechanical driven to electronic, it does not have the same life cycle and the the cost of fixing is exponential for electronic fix that a tree shade mechanic cannot do. Food for thought in the 21 Century!

Sorry to say your right. Low profile tires do suck and Ford is trying to satisfy millennials who for the most part cannot afford the car. Low profile tires just love potholes caused by ice heaves in New England too. Price the tires out, EXPENSIVE,! They should just make 18” wheel tire / wheel standard andhave the 20 & 21 inch go third party. Guess Ford / Lincoln bosses forgot the Firestone tire fiasco.

Have not heard of this transmission issue in any reviews I have seen. Might it be the result of being a new model 8 Speed transmission? The price for innovation sometimes. Agree someone might want to record audio on their phone and than bring to the dealer.

The problem is you can only get the 6 Cylinder with the Edge sport model and not fitted out as well as The Titanium model. Ford is missing the boat on pushing the 4 cylinder toy which does not cut the mustard except in city traffic.

This ultimate package bothered me too! Do not was to pay another couple grand for wheels / tire package that is not great for New England ice heave potholes and clipping granite curbs constantly. Would go with the luxury package which is typical Continental, otherwise will go with different auto manufacturer sadly. Low profile tires great for flat land city driving only and replacement 21 “ tires just to expensive to replace when unnecessary.

Agree, and these are low profile tires which do not make it with pot holes due ice heaves and granite curb. Great in flatlands of California. Also the tires are not all-season we need but V great summer. Hope dealers smart enough to tell factory they have a bo-boo!
