Had the same issue except the hatch wasn't fully closing, seemed to be but was was always trying to draw the hatch closed and eventually ran the battery down. Didn't happen each time but after 3 jump starts in 2 weeks the dealer found the latch actuator motor was intermitantly bad and replaced it. Appeared at 33k miles. 2016 MKX. Interesting they replaced your motor and sensor with no result.

Isn't BIGGER Always Better?

Has anyone noticed the front emblem is deployed out when it shouldn't be? While driving in a rain storm I was getting messages on the dash to clean the camera lens. I assume it was deployed out. I've also noticed that when I'm pulling into a space with a glass storefront I can sometimes, but not always, see the emblem is deployed out in the glass reflection. Had my wife watch and while most times the emblem is closed while in "D" it opens as soon as I put it in "P" and closes when I shut the car off. Shouldn't it only open when I press the dash button to use the 360 degree camera?

This is a constant issue. Have a 2016 with 12k and replaced the batteries twice and the last (3rd) time the dealer supposedly reprogrammed something and replaced the batteries. That lasted 4 months then the message started again. Took the batteries out rubbed them and problem solved (for at least the last 4 days). Think this will be an ongoing issue.

On prior Lincoln the side mirrors cited down in reverse so you could see curbs better. I use Memory Seat 3 with me seat settings and the mirrors tiled down. I use that setting when parking to make sure I don't scrape a curb....obviously not when I use the self parking feature.

But if doing local "chores" you could go for miles and miles with false readings. I could live with a mile or time parameter but speed seems non-sensical. Other manufactures don't seem to have this issue.

I had this one myself. Once I ID'd the problem I now realize that after anyone is in the back seat I need to simply reposition the buckle sideways from the rear door plastic. Its certainly a PITA but thats the culprit!

Copied this from the 2016 Forum regarding speed sensitive outside temp reading. Here's the copied text... *UPDATE* Ok I've been running tests. The speed limit in my development is 25MPH. The side road to the Library is 35MPH. The Main road from the Library to the major artery is 40MPH. As an example, on one test my temp reading was 79 degrees and on all the roads it continued to read that, even though it was really 93 degrees. Not until I reached 45-50 MPH 5 miles later did it jump 14 more degrees to 93. I just had an oil change so I asked the technician. Before I full described whats happening he said, "Yep, I have an Ford Edge and 40 MPH is the speed that you must exceed for a proper reading". So now I guess in order to determine the temp I'll have to speed, risk a ticket, possible an accident and definitely hurt my MPG average by hot-dogging it thru town. Ford/Lincoln, seems like some Engineers need to go back to school on this one! ​The question I have....those with a 2017 model, is this an issue or has Ford/Lincoln ractified? It drives me nuts.....

**UPDATE** Just went in for service and explained I'm on my 3rd set of batteries since taking delivery in November (6,700 Miles). Somethings wrong. The Tech agreed and reprogrammed the car and two Fobs as well as replaced batteries in both. Hopefully no more issues????

OK, I'll assume this is "normal". My prior car was a VW and once I left the garage I was less than 1/4 mile when it would recalibrate accurately.

Really slow??? What's the minimum required? I was doing 30MPH to the Library (about 3 miles) and leaving (the 7+ miles) was about 40MPH
