It will give you a first thought of how the Nautilus will look, but on a smaller scale. I know this is going to be a love it or hate it issue. You have no idea about the quality because you haven't seen one in person and you have no data to back up a fragile-quality comment on the 2.0LEB. I hadn't read that it is shorter, but if it is it will just be cosmetic (maybe Lincoln engineers figured out how to reduce the front overhang, which in my view is a good thing cosmetically) without reducing interior space. In fact cargo room will be improved, as the back seats will now lay flat. As for which looks better, that is purely a personal opinion, and I have read advocates for both looks. LOL) is likely attributable to the upright fascia/bumper of the N. compared to the forward-sloping area of the MKX. Just scroll to the top of this page and note the prominent protruding frontal profile (below the grill) of the pictured MKX. The entire front end of the N. is obviously more upright. Cargo room is going to be identical and unchanged.Please give a cite for the length reduction. As someone likely to purchase the Nautilus I have been reading a lot about the MKX refresh, but have not yet seen any mention of a length reduction. It's going to be nearly the same as MKX, in general, but a flatter front grille usually shortens the car's length by 0.5 to 1.5 inches. Nothing to worry... and most drivers don't care. :-) Ah, so you just made it up. I went onto Wikipedia and found these dimensions for the MKX: Wheelbase 112.2 in (2,850 mm), Length 190.0 in (4,826 mm), Width 76.2 in (1,935 mm), Height 66.2 in (1,681 mm). For the Nautilus, Wiki provides no dimensions, as apparently Lincoln has not provided this information yet to anyone. This info is likely to be out on the June 19, just 5 days from now, when Lincoln plans to put out "Early Build & Price" information (probably up on their website) on the Nautilus. And I think that might also be when dealers can begin taking customer orders. Today is "Order Banks Open" day, when dealers can start submitting their allocation requests to Lincoln. "Job1" date, when the first Nautilus is supposed to come off the assembly line, is slated for July 30. Sorry to hear the moderator never enjoys reading my posts. But people here like what I wrote that there's going to be a slight reduction on overall length in new Nautilus, because new grille is now 90 degree angle. Probably to attract more new younger drivers. Just trying to be helpful here as always. Most people ignore your posts because they're so ridiculous not because anyone agrees with you. Your opinion is whether you like it or not, not whether something is good quality or not. That is stating your opinion as a fact which you do a lot. Especially when it's something you have not touched. You also have no idea whatsoever about length - you're just guessing. Further similar posts will be deleted with no warning. Never miss the chance to rag on the Ford FI engines, do you? Learn a different tune. ALL Ford engines have excellent reliability. The 2.0L is not fragile, flimsy, or unreliable. You have no support for your perspective - all the data are in a different direction. Over, and over, and over again you take threads off topic by making up uninformed nonsense about the Fords engines. It gets real old. Back on topic: I had several MKCs as loaners and I was really surprised by how impressed I was. It did not get good reviews by Consumer Reports but it was an absolute pleasure to drive and I did like the styling quite a bit. I am one of those who liked the cat whisker front end. I also like the new grill too. On the love it or hate it scale, I'll probably lean toward "love it". I saw the Nautilus at the LA Auto show. Liked the front end - but HATED those hideous side badges. Overall, I though the previous gen MKC/MKX were two of the best looking vehicles in their classes. I bet that will continue with the new beak. Like I said before, we will need to wait for official Nautilus dimensions announced by Ford. I'm just estimating, that's all. It is a fair speculation, and personally I would be glad to see a reduction in the front overhang. As for the "fragile-quality 2.0L I4 turbo," I realize many people, thinking back to the bad old days of turbocharged engines with bad lag and worse reliability, prefer normally aspirated engines. But actually that engine, which Ford and Lincoln have used extensively in their cars, has had a very good reliability record. NHTSA receives far fewer than average complaints about it. As for your comments that the new grille was cheap and flimsy and the car was shorter in length, those were stated as fact, though in later postings you said well, they were opinion on what might happen, not that you actually knew either would necessarily be the case. In the same way, I'm very much looking forward to the new heads-up display on the Nautilus. No, no one has announced that it would be added as a feature, but it might! I'm wondering what kind of mpg the 2.0 gets over its larger brother? BTW I like the new grill, excellent change, very nice design. And I still hate the side badges, too obnoxious. edit. Look at the Cadillac XT4. (Or 5 or Escalade for that matter), no gaudy side badges, just a small, simple Cadillac emblem. Would have made a bigger statement by simply adding the Lincoln emblem. As per MPG, the Edge with the 2.0 gets roughly 25% better fuel economy than an Edge with the 2.7. So, I'm guessing the full picture will be in that range.
