At least I would know cool seats work properly. I do like the looks of the Nutella to though. That said VW seems to be more premium car then the premium Lincoln is even when comparing to Conti. The vehicle you've highlighted is not available in North America. VW decided to go with a longer Tiguan as the two row option and the VW Atlas as the three row option. One observation that caught my attention relating to the entire Lincoln lineup is that the Premier trim level has disappeared (or will do so in upcoming MY releases). Based on the Nautilus site in its present iteration, the difference in price between my 2016 and an equivalent 2019 model would only be an increase of $325 (total $48,870) even though the 2019 would include lane keeping as standard. Gurgeh Posted June 21, 2018 Report Share Posted June 21, 2018 Yes, Premier seems to be gone. There is still an unnamed base Nautilus, but if you upgrade the engine or choose AWD it goes away. Rick65inlosangeles Posted July 2, 2018 Report Share Posted July 2, 2018 Maybe this has already been discussed before: Why is Lincoln using the 2.0 as the base engine when the 2.3 is more powerful? 2.0 is the standard engine in the ’19 MKC and before. I would have thought if Lincoln decided to use a four-cylinder turbocharged engine in Lincoln’s big brother it would have been the 2.3 which is 285hp and 305lbs of torque vs the 2.0 245hp and 275lbs of torque. This would place the 2.3 closer to the departing 3.7 in power 303hp and torque 278 lbs I find it completely unacceptable that for the Black Label model that Lincoln is using the same engine options. Lincoln Motor Company is trying to establish itself as a premium luxury model to compete with others. akirby Posted July 2, 2018 Report Share Posted July 2, 2018 The only explanation we can come up with is the 2.3 production is constrained (can’t make enough of them) and/or it simplifies production in the Oakville plant which also makes the Edge.
