akirby
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/brands-with-the-highest-consumer-satisfaction/#slide-3594811 Number 1: LincolnImpressively, Lincoln managed to top the American Customer Satisfaction Index for 2016 with a score of 87. This is a great accomplishment for the American car company, and it significantly outperformed its corporate parent, Ford.
Adam
It wasn't a terribly large sample size, was it? Regardless, good to be above Honda!
akirby
Yeah I don't know anything about the survey so take it with a grain of salt but it's still a good thing especially when some people think all Lincoln dealers are terrible. rst08tierney
im sure it was an extremely small sample size.... the joke on other forums about this is Lincoln demographics (Average Purchase Age 57) shows that most of their customers dont even know how to open their email to fill out the survey mmoretti
akirby
Local Lincoln dealer is going to pick up the MKX and drop off a Lincoln loaner while they do the first oil change and check a couple of minor issues and they'll bring it back. That's not required on 2016s - only 2017s. Assuming they don't screw something up I'd give them top marks for customer sat too.
rst08tierney
You under stand these high ratings that Lincolns getting right now & ASCI scores are due to low volume and customer demographics. For instance: YTD Lincoln has sold 71,638 Units with an ASCI score of 87 YTD Honda has sold 987,811 Units with an ASCI score of 86 YTD GMC has sold 348,164 Units with an ASCI score of 84 The manufacture boasting about this is almost the same as a baseball player who gets 4 at bats the entire season and calls him self a .500 hitter since he got 2 hits. To me, im more impressed with Hondas numbers. thats quite a few happy customers Edited September 15, 2016 by rst08tierney
akirby
Or look at it another way - a few bad ratings would hurt Lincoln more than Honda. I don't necessarily think Lincoln is better than Honda, but being rated #1 is better than #10.

tdstarnes
I'm not surprised at all about Ford. I have a Ford and service at Ford and Lincoln is night and day. I'll take my Lincoln dealer any day over Ford, they could learn something from Lincoln.
cowboy24
I guess you'd call me a lincoln nerd (or nut) my first car was a '54 lincoln capri convertible (wish I still had it) and now own '11 MKX and '02 Blackwood , never owned another brand of car ( there IS another?)only owned cummins powered dodge trucks-- owned ranch, NEED trucks-- if only lincoln made heavy duty trucks! dodge is a cheap farm truck with an EXCELLENT engine. the reason I'm posting is because this site is so devoid of complaints and catastrophic failures of the marque it just reinforces my trust for and love of LINCOLN MOTORS. just go on any other forum, and you will see thousands of problems, complaints, vows to never purchase again, etc can't wait till my '11 gets to 100k ,then I'll trade it for a '20!!! MKXMark
Yep, I own 2017 MKX and MKZ with zero issues. Both online forums are very quiet when it comes to major problems. Love both of the vehicles.
