What would you like to see in the 2019 update?

I'm not against power foldup seats at all. I just disagree with the notion that NOT including them is stupid.

Correction: F'in Stupid.

Well thanks for grabbing on to this and running with it.  Really made some good point, you really did, yes you can do it manually you can also manually open the tailgate, so lets get rid of that, manually unlock the door lets get rid of that etc etc etc.  What I actually said is the fact that they went to all that trouble to engineer an electric button to release the seat as opposed to putting all that effort into making them go up and the function of them going down leave to physics, like most other cars do.  And YES for 50k that SHOULD be included if they want to be competitive, come think of it one of the explorers i recently drove had that...hmm.

Personally, I don't give a hoot about the fold up feature (That, btw, is not a criticism of thisguy159 wanting that feature).  My bigger issue with the fold down procedure is it just doesn't work very well.  You NEVER get a truly flat load floor and the larger of the two seats never seems to go down the full way.

These are VERY minor issues to me though.

And, btw, I looked at lots of vehicles in this price range.  I never once viewed the fold up function as a critical to making the vehicle competitive.

But, again, I'm not being critical of your posts just saying that I don't agree.

Walkabout hit the nail on the head. There's no reason the rear seats couldn't be engingered to fold completely flat like the do in other models. Reclining feature is noce, but in all holestly, no one who has ever ride in thd back had ever actually reclined.

I know the HUD is not high on everyone's list but it is a desired option for me.  An encouraging fact is that on the 2018 Navigator, it is standard on the BL as a new feature. There has been some speculation that it might be a BL feature only but it is also included in the optional Technology Package for the Select and Reserve models.  Hopefully, they will do the same for the 2019 MKX.  I realize there is no guarantee since the Navigator is a whole different price point, but at least there is some hope they would want to keep things consistent across the models.

Road modifying performance. Where the vehicle senses the curve and "banks" the suspension to compensate.

Forward-looking infrared camera option, switchable in the display at speeds under 15 mph to drive safely in heavy fog, snow or rain.

Heated and cooled cupholders

SMALLER INTELLIGENT ACCESS KEY FOBS (it's like carrying a suitcase around).

Cabin air purification with charcoal filter AND ionizer.

Less menus, more buttons

$20,000 discount for present Lincoln owners of older Lincolns. (Heh)

Ability of Sync to recognize folders and sub-folders, snd sub-sub-foldets. Esp for USB and Bluetooth music connections.

More published information about the structure of Sync. (To be better able to organize SD cards, etc).

Ability to add on additional features through dealer (such as navigation when not optioned during build. Yes it can be done, when dealer orders an aftermarket kit tied to a specific VIN).

Airless tires.

Customizable text messaging. That is, text messages originated while driving by use of voice recognition. Currently must hold phone while composing message. Do all through Sync.

Back seats that fold all tbe way flat.

Return of the console shifter.  Keep the availability of a non-turbo engine.  Add a dedicated AWD lock switch for low traction situations.  Have the ability to get the 10 spoke 20 inch wheels with the 3.7 engine.  A sliding center armrest would also be a nice touch.
