As for identifying the MKC, I always look for that "clamshell" rear tailgate that is fairly easy to see going into the rear fender as the car passes by.

So far, I have only seen 3 Nautilus out driving around. 1 Ceramic Pearl, 1 Black and 1 White. Of course, I'm retired, so not out driving around during major traffic hours.

I think they are bolted in place, but never crawled under there to look. Be worth asking the dealer for sure.

I suppose another solution could be your dealer would not charge you for the Trailer Tow PKG and completely remove it? On my 16 MKX, I never used it, but last fall, it was getting a few places that were showing a liitle rust, and I used Black Rust Stop paint from Ace Hardware to put it back to looking new again.

So, it takes months to build your Nautilus, and then they don't get it right. Not fun, hope you can get it changed, rather than having to start all over again.

i was also surprised to see the 5.5 second 0-60. I thought other testing was showing it in the 6.5 to 6.7 range. Anyway, good site to look through.

If it was more than $250, it might be a bigger deal. It's the only "close to me" Lincoln Only dealer, and I have had good experiences with the many times I had to take my MKX to Service to solve issues over the 3 years I owned it. So unless anything odd comes up, I am OK with this dealer.

Just got a call from the Sales Manager, and not sure if I got a true answer or not. But here's what I was told...that dealerships get different incentives from Lincoln each month, and what they get in February is higher than they get in March to take off the MSRP. The claim was that my cost would have increased by $750 if they had used 3/1 as date of sale, which basically meant $1,000 less off MSRP minus the $250 from Lincoln. So, whatever makes sense or doesn't I guess.

Yesterday I was looking at my Dealer's Inventory, and noticed that in addition to the $500 Bonus Cash, that now Lincoln has added another $250 Bonus Cash starting on 3/1 through 4/1. I bought my Nautilus on Friday, 3/1. So I pulled out my paperwork last night to see if they included the $250, and what I saw was not good. The date on the paperwork was 2/28, which is not the day I bought the car, and that $250 was not there. I sent an email to the Sales Manager last night letting them know I was not at all happy about what I found. And am now waiting to hear from them. Since I have not yet received my survey from Lincoln about my Dealership experience, I would think they would try to work this out, but we'll see what happens!

I had thought I would likely buy a Blue Diamond '19 Continental with the 3.0 L 400 HP engine AWD when I was ready to trade in the MKX. Then, the rumors started that the Continental would be discontinued. So, trade-in value on a Continental in a few years probably would be very bad news.

Yes, that offer is for the pre-Sync3 2016 MKX.

I currently own 8 vehicles, 5 Classic Cars, 3 modern. All are convertibles except my Mark V and Nautilus, which both have large moonroofs. None are foreign cars. My first memory of a Lincoln in the family was a '53 Capri Coupe, which I don't have a photo of, but it was white with a black top, and red and black leather interior. Then they bought a '56 Premiere Coupe, exactly like the photo below, but not the actual car.

For anyone who hasn't seen the Slate interior. For a very odd reason, when I first took photos of the interior with my phone, the photos almost looked like Cappuccino. Finally tried my iPad Pro and got much closer to the actual color, which I really like.

Yes, click on the "Paper Clip" that says Click to Choose Files. Then, since my phone has all of my photos, click on the far right thing that is labeled Documents. That takes me right to where I can select Gallery on my phone to get to my photos. I can't believe I have been on this site for several years and never figured out how to add photos.
-
Since I just figured out how to add photos on this site, this is the look when changing the Sync3 background color. Since I have the Slate interior, it matches very well.

Just a guess, but they both seemed close to 2,000 rpm when shifting into top gear.

And that Ugly Lexus front...

Both MKX and Nautilus are 2.7 L AWD.

I have had mine just a couple of weeks now, and it seems with watching the Tach, it seems to shift to 8th gear at 60 mph, v/s the MKX shifted to 6th gear at 50 mph. Does this seem accurate? I am also noticing that just running errands, going to lunch, basically short trips, it's showing around 25.2 mpg in my suburban area. My MKX was usually showing around 22.1 mpg doing the same. And this is before we get back to summer gas that usually increases mileage. Sunday, I was making a 35 mile trip from West to East, and with high winds pushing me from the West, I got 31.7 mpg coming home...ha

Solved. Stopped by my Lincoln Dealer this morning. I told my salesman what was happening. He said he was too old to figure it out and got a young salesman to take care of it. I sat in the backseat so I could see what he was doing, but he flipped through things so quickly, I don't actually know what he did, but whatever it was, it worked. Turns out, this salesman sold my '16 MKX on Saturday, so it wasn't even on their listing for a week.

Yes, the switch on the steering wheel I take to Trip 1. Then I push the button with the left sign on it, and the Trip 1 shows up on the Dash. It stays until the next time I start the car, and then the Tire Pressure comes right back up instead of Trip 1.
-
I set my guages up with Speedometer and Tach, and then Tire Pressure in the center. I now want to switch the center to Trip 1. I can do that, but every time I restart the car, the Tire Pressure comes back on that center section. Must be something easy I am missing. When I go to Display and get to the Tire Pressure selection, it shows OK, but if I push that OK thing on the steering wheel, I thought that would turn it off, but it just goes to psi and no turning it off it seems. Help!
