Rickymo57 Posted November 13, 2015 Report Share Posted November 13, 2015 The check engine light came on a few days after purchase. Dealer checked and said needed to put in correct code. Light was off all clear- 600 miles later check engine light in. Bringing it in but wondering if anyone else had this new problem. Car appears to run fine- very annoying. Patrick220 Posted May 13, 2016 Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 Engine light went on two weeks after lease of 2016 MKX. Dealer said it was a bad sensor. Two weeks later, light went on again. enigma-2 Posted May 13, 2016 Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) Lexus is a great car, but they have sensor's that go out, connections that corrode; problems that every car has. Have a business associate friend that swears by the Lexus. Another by Cadillac. Both have had to have service for engine light problems. The MKX is really a great car, smooth, quiet & comfortable.
