Bad tone
I got Terracotta/Ebony interior on the Nautilus and love it, but there is a curiosity. When I used the Build &Price tool the interior view had the seats and door armrests in Terracotta, all else was Ebony. My vehicle was delivered with Ebony armrests, so I’m curious; if anyone has a Terracotta interior on a 2016 or later, what color are your armrests? I’m okay with the black, but am curious if it’s a change, normal or a boo-boo.
Cosmos36
All photos that I've seen of 2016-2018 MKX Reserve interiors have Terracotta armrests.
Bad tone
Thanks! That’s what I thought. I’ll keep an eye out for Terracotta Nautuli and see if mine is “unique”.
Cosmos36
An additional observation...I noted that MKZ Terracotta interiors have black armrests.
Bad tone
So it turns out, according to the Concierge, that the armrests are indeed black with the Terracotta interior on the Nautilus, and that the 360 view in the build and price tool is a pre-production model which had Terracotta armrests. To make amends for the discrepancy they extended the free oil changes from 1 to 4yr/60K on my vehicle, which I thought was a nice response.
