JOEHIO
Sorry to hear of your problems. What year is your car & the mileage? I had my wife's '09 MKS in for servicing about a month ago, did a first tune up at 62,000 miles, and they found some bad coils. They replaced them (under extended warranty) and all is fine. The car runs like a top, only problem is that I want her to get a new one before the extended warranty expires (Sept '15), she loves it so much, she doesn't want to get a new one. Trying to explain that once the warranty runs out, repairs can get costly. The next car will go with a 10 yr/100,000 warranty. enigma-2
I would get 2nd opinion. There's always parts from a junk yard (still good, 1/10 the price.)
