ShadowHawk
Good afternon All, It's time to replace the stock shocks & struts on our 2009 ride. Any ideas, suggestions or personal experience would be appreciated. I have traditionally used Bilstein, however, I can only find units for Navigators and Town Cars. Thanks. ShadowHawk
No issue with Motocraft. However, I was hoping to upgrade to a performance set-up.
akirby
You're not typically going to find better performance from non-OEM shocks on these vehicles and in a lot of cases you'll get worse ride quality. The OEM shocks are tuned very carefully along with the suspension for optimal performance and ride quality.

drivfour
Why is it so hard to find shocks for the electronic ride option? typical aftermarket stores have only listings for non electronic. trying to not go to the dealer. Rock auto does not even have a listing and they usually show multiple options. Read bad stories of the cheap ones on amazon leaking and huge shipment costs for returns.
