All was good in the mountains, except this beast that kept on throwing pine-cones into my campsite...

Happy Fouth, sloopdawg. I had to chuckle, as a neighbor is moving in today, with an army of their friends and family all in FoMoCo. 2 - F350s 1 - Explorer 1 - Edge 1 - MKC 1- Ford UHaul I, on the other hand, am going to the mountains.

Yeah, you would have to Buck Boost it to 16-18V off of your 12V relay source. (Example of an adjustable Buck Booster...) https://www.amazon.com/Yeeco-High-power-Regulator-Converter-Constant/dp/B00MIJL4OC/ref=asc_df_B00Q16YB9I/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167146065113&hvpos=1o5&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7094943331761919542&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031710&hvtargid=pla-305845666229&th=1

So, I chatted with somebody at Lincoln Concierge (Yeah, I know, so what), and he is under the impression the LED Headlights on the Nautilus (All of the trims) up to BL and the Ultimate Package are the same but FIXED. I suspect that meaning is, once again, the luxury package is not true Adaptive Headlights in the US, since it is illegal for all makes. The *Cornering Light* appears to been allowed, since it has been used for almost 20 years.
-
Great minds and something something... I blew up the Headlight section on a Nautilus Select and it sure looks like a reflector array...
-
If they use the Reflector Style LED, like in the *old* Luxury Package as standard, it will be fantastic. The light cones blend perfectly into a uniform lighting arc. Also, the LED Signature DTRL on the *old* Luxury Package have an awesome defuser that makes the LED elements look more like the *Light Pipes* (Audi, etc) instead of the *LED Ropes*. It would be nice to see them on less than BL trims.
-
Here is something for *de-coding*, the LED Headlamps for each trim: Nautilus - Headlamps — Fixed LED Headlamps with Dynamic Signature Lighting — LED Daytime Running Lamps (DTRL) — LED Turn Signals Nautilus Select - Headlamps — LED Headlamps — Dynamic LED Signature Lighting including Cornering Lamps LED Fog Lamps Nautilus Reserve - Headlamps — LED Headlamps — Dynamic LED Signature Lighting with Cornering Lamps Optional with the Ultimate Package: – Dynamic LED Signature Lighting with Cornering Lamps – Full LED Multi-Projector Headlamps – LED Turn Signals So, the Nautilus, Nautilus Select, and Nautilus Reserve come included with a Reflector Style LED Headlight that we haven't seen yet? I suspect this is the Full LED Multi-Projector Headlamps:

Don't worry about the audio upgrade. I can barely get the Revel-19 system past 66% volume before my ears start bleeding. Comfortably loud level is about 25-30% on the 19 speaker system.

Yes, indeed. I love the feeling of, after 8 hours of driving, no road wear on my back, hips or legs. Gurgeh - Here I thought I was the only one out there that found the base Lincoln seats a tiny bit more comfortable than the 22-way (when not massaging).
-
LOL...Looks like the Nautilus page is down for some rework...the MKX is back!
-
Excellent. Thanks again.
-
Oh, wow...I thought Lincoln was going with the full LCD instrument panel w/o bezels, like the Continental...Two shots in that brochure have the 2016-18 setup.
-
Thanks. I was thinking about 3D printing up a vent diverter for that vent and pointing it at the seat Peltier unit, but I would really like to get the seatback Peltier unit going, like in your setup. Two hoses per seat, one for hvac in and one for exhaust out?
-
Nah...Just get a little 12V vac for emergency cleanings. The 12V auto sockets cover all of the interior.
-
1.25" Wet/Dry Vac Hose?
-
That reminds me, I need to print-up a 90 deg air diverter to point the rear seat floor aircon ducts into the bottom of the front seats.
-
The 100A base model (Old Premier) looks pretty tech savy now...A comparably equipped Nautilus to my 2016 is about +$3,000 more, so it looks like they rolled up those extra techs into the base price. I would suspect the CCD will make the 21" vs 20" indistinguishable. Akirby would be the expert on this, of course.
-
Not too bad. The RDX was always my second choice if the MKX didn't work out.
-
Yeah, no. Most of us here still have a lot of miles on our bumper to bumper warranty, so, not much is messed with other than things like wipers, tires, etc.
-
Do you have a voltage on pins 1&2 (Right-most wires in pix)?

Tips, Tricks and Features...?
mkx-wanders replied to mkx-wanders's topic in Lincoln MKX / Nautilus Lounge
Tip: Original Rear Wiper clips straight in. New MotorCraft Rear Wiper clips in and slides/clicks to the left (Of course, reverse for extracting). (I totally destroyed the old wiper replacing it)
