thisguy159 Posted November 29, 2016 Report Share Posted November 29, 2016 I had a chance to sample (currently have a MKZ rented in NJ) new Sync 3 v2.0. First appears to be a little different startup process other then that not much changed. There is a different voice/accent over v1.0 and now it doesn't appear to recognize texts that have multiple people on the thread (effectively MMS) so v.1.0 will read out each person and number on the text thread really annoying! v2.0 doesn't recognize or show those messages. Surprised they didn't fix that, both new GM and Chrysler infotainment systems have no issue with this. This I would guess is different with iMessage when one apple user texts another but once android etc is included it will all act the same. Finally android auto...nothing really to crazy here, works like any other car out there that has AA but it is well integrated into the Sync screen and mapped to the steering wheel buttons.
