So I purchased a CPO mostly for the warranty extensions. I assumed they just checked the boxes on the 200 point inspection. I got my answer today when I checked on #148 cabin air filter. They said this one passed but it seems to me they didn’t check it at all. It was full of leaves and very dirty.
Perhaps when you take a test drive in a CPO it would be worth grabbing a screw driver and checking ahead of time. It would sure be embarrassing for the dealer to see something like this one while they are telling you how well they do the 200 point inspection. My sales woman is the daughter of the owner of that dealership so she will get to see the pic after the fact.
Actually while I was writing this they already texted and said it would be replaced right away. Too late though I already bought one figuring I would need it eventually either way.
