I need some help if anybody is out there to help. I had the brake booster changed in my 2007 MKX in 8/11 at 40000 miles. under my warranty. now it has gone out again at 76000 miles and Lincoln or Future Ford of Roseville Ca will not do anything about it. I need my car so I had a independent repair shop do it for half the cost of the dealership. I am so angry i could scream. I have been a Ford girl all my life but now I may change my stripes. This is just wrong.Anybody else having the same problem?

Even the Ford Premium ESP would not have covered that since the vehicle is more than 7 yrs old.    If that's the only repair you've had on a 9 yr old vehicle I'd say you're way ahead of the game.

You really don't have any recourse with a vehicle that old.  There is no recall on the brake booster (nor should you expect one).

Well on my 2013 MKX, under Customer Satisfaction Program 13N02 in Jan 2014, the Brake Booster warranty was extended to 10 years or 240,000KM (149,000 miles) to cover possible "small tear in the diaphragm".

That was for 2011-2013 models only and the brake booster parts are not the same as the 2007 models.
