I did drive the vehicle in a serious snowstorm up in the mountains and it performed like a champ. Not much of a ride issue either, although I'm used to some pretty stiff vehicles. Personally, I would stick with the 20 inch tires (and probably will if I lease another mkx). Low profile tires make little sense for a crossover.
