Barbara.gargone
The thing is, I'm never going fast enough to get a ticket. Not even close. My wife is just super sensitive to g forces, plus she is deathly afraid that if you go more than 50% throttle the engine will explode or if you take a corner 10 mph faster than she would (which is usually at least 20 mph below the safe top speed) the car is going to fly off the road. It's a completely irrational fear. I've driven several supercars (Ferrari 458, porsche 911 GT3, et al) on a racetrack with xtreme xperience (with a coach in the passenger seat). You would think that watching the videos and seeing that the car is completely under control at all times would ease her fears, but she can't even watch them. And forget about trying to convince her that it's safer on the track doing 110 than it is on the interstate at 75. She just won't listen or even try to comprehend it. One day a driver pulled out into the street and fishtailed a little bit. She thought he was literally going to crash and die right there. Drives me nuts. It really drives me nuts. Sorry for the rant. Barbara.gargone
I myself like fast cars mainly on acceleration, From the start when needed. Not around sharp corners though .
