  1. Hello. I am new to this forum. I purchased a 2007 Lincoln MKX earlier this year. I have enjoyed every aspect of this vehicle. Unfortunately, my air conditioning completely stopped working with no previous warnings or malfunctions. No cool air blows the vents no matter to what fan speed is set. The seats do cool as usual. When the air conditioner is set to the off position and then set to the on position, it sounds like the compressor is coming on, but no cool air is blowing from the vents. I had the air conditioning refrigerant checked right before summer began. The air conditioning system was not low of refrigerant nor were there any leaks. Is there a simple way to test the fan or air conditioning to find out the issue? Does this sound more likely that the fan motor needs to be replaced? If so, how difficult would that be to fix by one self? Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!
