  1. This is my first time posting here - so be gentle. I have a 2007 MKX and the ABS has been activating when stopping normally on dry pavement. Took it to the dealership and they said it was probably air in the brake lines and flushed the lines for me for $90 - it probably needed it anyway. Go the car back yesterday and within 5 minutes of my wife driving it the same thing started to happen. She could not take it back to the dealership at that time but we plan too tomorrow. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Could it be a bad ABS sensor? I have read something about wheel bearings going bad, metal flakes on the sensors, or a bad controller. Any help would be appreciated. jhoeschele
  2. Thanks for the welcome! My wife and I love the MKX that we have and joined hoping to find some answers to some issues we are having - first time anything has gone wrong with the car in the 4 years that we have owned it. John
