2013 MKX. I can't reset the oil change status because the right arrow control button does not work, so I can't navigate to the oil reset option. Everything else with the control buttons seems to work ok. Is there some trick to resetting the control buttons?

If this helps... My 2013 MKX had a loud noise when traveling at speed. A section of the weather stripping across the top of the windshield, driver's side, had come loose and was flapping against the vehicle. A tad bit of glue fixed it.

I don't know if this would work for you but it solved a "one side blows hot" issue in my 2013 MKX. Engine on, A/C off. Press the A/C on button then the rear defrost button, hold both for 10 seconds. Then press A/C on button twice.

Try this option before replacing a part. I found this online and it fixed the issue of one side blowing hot air on my 2013 MKX. Engine on, A/C off. Press A/C on button then rear defrost button, hold both on together for 10 seconds, then press A/C twice. It resets something or other! No problem since I did that.
