Unfortunately that doesn't work. I put audible in the menu but got no horn or chirp noises

I posted the original question. I am asking if there is a software update that gives me a chirp or horn when locking the door. Right now when I lock the car and push the key fob twice there is no sound whatsoever. I have checked the dashboard menu and there is nothing there.

I noticed on the 2017 MKX that when you lock the car using the key fob you get a chirp from the horn. Does anyone know if this might be a software update for the 2016 mkx

For those that are interested the ability to disengage the auto fold mirrors on my 2016 Lincoln MKX has been repaired. The dealership called and made a software change that brings up the disengaging of auto fold mirror function. This has taken many months of calls to Lincoln Canada and it has finally been fixed. Now there are still 3 other functions to be fixed. 1. Changing speedometer to digital readout. 2. neutral tow function 3. The ability of horn to beep after pushing lock on key fob twice. Hopefully some of these fixes can also be made.

Yes it was. It was delivered in Sept 2015. I understand MKXs after Nov 2015 had these functions included.

Sorry I should have said MKX in my posting. Yes the light flashes but I like the idea of a chirp or some similar sound when locking the car. Re the horn sounding twice when the door is closed when car is running. I talked to a dealership technician about this and he wishes they could turn it off as it is annoying to them when repairing a car. By the way I have been told by Customer Service at Lincoln Canada that they are working on updating softwear to deal with Neutral Tow and disengaging auto fold function. I will let the Forum know when I have more information

I have previously reported on various missing functions on my 2016 Lincoln KMX. Those included the ability to disengage the auto fold mirror function the neutral tow function the ability to change speedo to digital but now I have recently discovered that the ability to have horn chirp when locking the car after 2 presses of the key fob is not there. These items are all referred to in the owners manual. What happened to quality control when these vehicles were being manufactured?? Lincoln is supposed to be a premium vehicle or so I thought.

So now I find there are several items missing on my KMX. Not only do I not have the disengaging of the auto fold mirrors function. The neutral tow item is missing and also the ability to change the speedo to digital read out . One new item I have noticed which is the chirping of the horn when locking the car after 2 presses of the key fob. All of those items are included in the manual but not on my KMX. I realize that none of these items have a major impact when driving the car but they are supposed to be there and there not. I am not happy. Lincoln is supposed to be a premium vehicle where was quality control when my car was being assembled.??

Having trouble with auto fold mirrors. I want to disengage them according to the manual I go into vehicle settings but can't find the mirror settings to disengage auto fold. Can any one help? I have a 2016 Lincoln KMX Select model
