At lower speeds the blower motor sound pretty loud, much louder than it is at higher speeds. I'm new to this car, but it seems like in a Lincoln it should be quieter than it is. should I start planning on replacing it? Thanks.

I found one under the heat insulation panel on the drivers side. I saw a piece of paper sticking out. I pulled it out and found a build sheet. It wasn't a great place to leave it as it's pretty faded, but I can read most of it.

Were do you folks find the seat filters? I want to replace the ones on my 08 But I haven't been able to find them. Thanks.

I think that's right from what I read in the manual. It's way to cold here to try it out today. -21 with the wind chill.

I picked up the MKX Thursday afternoon and I getting use to. It has 65,000 miles on it and is is like new. I do need to get a set of tires for it as the ones on it are worn more then I feel comfortable with. We were looking for a comfortable roomy ride to travel in. I think we found it with this CUV. I'm so far very pleased with it. I'm as much of a car guy as I can bee at my age, and along with the Lincoln I own a great summer fun car, a 98 Chrysler Sebring Limited convertible. I also have two cars I take to car shows, one an 84 Pontiac Fiero SE four speed with over 235,000 miles on it and a like new 01 Chevy Monte Carlo SS as a back up show car. I do most of the work on my cars as I enjoy doing it (most of the time). My wife and I also enjoy traveling around. Some day I'd like to travel on Rt 66 just for fun.

Thanks. I left phone out of the first post. I wanted to know if I could link two phones to the Sync system. I watched a couple of videos on u-tube and one mentioned web site for the Sync system so I registered there and found a link for the manual. Thanks for the link.

I just bought an 08 MKX and the supplement for the Sync system is missing. My questions are: 1. Can more than one be linked to the system and if so how could I do it? 2. Is the Sync manual avaiable somewhere on line? Thanks.
