    • Hello!,  I am having issues with my 2018 MKX. Tail gate started acting up. Some time it opens other times it tries to open but doesn’t. Infotainment screen freezes up . Some time it doesn’t come up at all. Other times touch buttons will not work. Recently, I am having trouble to connect my phone. My question is. Is it Sync 3.4 issue or infotainment issue. Please advise and guide. Thanks. Ash
    • Our 2016 Lincoln MKX tailgate partially opened, but the latch didn’t release so the tailgate didn’t open.  Not with any of the buttons, nor the key fob.  I disconnected the battery, waited a minute and reconnected it.  It now works, but I plan on getting a new battery, just in case it’s low power that’s causing the problem.  Just like other computers, turn it off and back on and it resets.
    • Hi! I purchased a 2019 Nautilus this Sept 2024, had 56,000 miles on it. I test drove it after driving a dodge caravan for 4 years so didn't catch what I would call a shimmy in the steering (so I would suspect wheels?) and just feel the road more than I thought for a luxury vehicle. I took it back to dealer and they supposedly test drove it (although I requested when I made the appt that I ride along and didn't) and rebalanced and switched new tires around but didn't admit to anything else. No charge which is nice but I still feel it at all speeds, can anyone offer a suggestion...car fax was clean. Could AWD vehicles have more road feel to them? Its just not a soft ride. Thanks! Katy
    • I have a 2016 Lincoln MKX with 2 issues -    1. Battery -  I'm on my 3rd battery in 2 years.    The most recent new battery was put in and 3 days later it was completely dead, the key fob wouldn't even unlock the door. It jumped off immediately and was fine after that.  I researched and saw a Youtube post from Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics about a Telematic Control Unit modular being responsible for the parasitic draw.  So, yesterday i unplugged that 16pin plug, and now will wait a week or so and see if that fixed it.  If not, I'm clueless - and frustrated.   There are not other cords plugged in, all doors are shut, and no lights are on.  . Anyone else have any fixes to the mysterious MKX parasitic battery draw issue that kills batteries?   2. Touch Screen  - the screen illuminates but is not "touchable".  Therefore, to change the radio you have to spin the dials manually and to change the fan/temp for the AC/Heater you have to press the +/-.  To be honest, since i've had the car the touch screen hasn't worked so i dont know what all you should be able to see/do on there.  I've done a hard restart on the Sync system to reboot it ( forgot how i did that now) but it didn't help anything.   So, anyone else had issues like mine where the screen illuminates but is not touchable?   Also, is there any random chance that my battery issues are related to something to do with me screen not working - from a satellite communication perspective that could be constant draw on the battery?   Thanks
    • Hi, did you end up getting g the MKX? I’m looking at a 2016 with about 88k miles on it and wondering the same things you were!
    • What did it end up being that was wrong with it? Mine just started doing the exact same thing.
