Clif Report post Posted April 3 My 2010 MKX could use a new engine. I cant budget a Jasper remanufactured so I was checking risky used engine prices. A vendor or broker offered me two engines, the 2011 uses Ti-VCT Cam Phasing so I wonder about it being compatible with my 2010 controller 34k miles 5 YEARS Warranty 1000.00 a 2011 engine 70k miles 3 YEARS Warranty 920.00 a 2010 engine 2007–2010 Lincoln MKX 265 hp (198 kW) at 6,250 250 lb⋅ft (339 N⋅m) at 4,500 iVCT 2011–2014 Ford Edge 285 hp (213 kW) at 6,500 253 lb⋅ft (343 N⋅m) at 4,000 Ti-VCT If the 2011+ engine is a direct swap , would a 3.7 be an option 2011–2015 Lincoln MKX[8] 2011–2014 Ford Edge Sport 305 hp (227 kW) at 6,500 280 lb⋅ft (380 N⋅m) at 4,250 Ti-VCT I think that I have to stick with the iVCT cam phasing engine 2007 - 2010 for 2010 MKX/Edge , I do hate having to buy a junk yard engine , but I'll keep searching for the lowest milage engine possible
