EliB Report post Posted January 13 Hi. Was in a drive thru carwash and my rear wiper came flying off. I can take the car in to the dealership or install a new rear wiper arm myself Found this on Amazon for the Ford Edge, and works for the Edge till 2020 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXHQLQ8?pf_rd_r=Q5YY35ZZVG40M9MA6XYN&pf_rd_p=5ae2c7f8-e0c6-4f35-9071-dc3240e894a8 should this be fine for the Lincoln Nautilus or do you recommend going to the dealership? thank you Eli
CARR142 Report post Posted January 13 That Should be fine; call dealer parts dept. for a price, go with whatever is convenient for you, and ask them to match the Amazon price if they want more $ for the part.
enigma-2 Report post Posted January 14 It should be fine. It simply presses on, screws down and fastened with a nut (the hardest part is actually installing the blade to the arm). This is one case where aftermarket is as good as oem. I had to replace mine and ended up having to cut it off with a dermel tool. What's curious is why it came off in thd first place. (It's bolted on).

enigma-2 Report post Posted January 15 Mist have gotten caught in the rotary brush. I've noticed that my local car wash puts a plastic sleeve on rear wipers. Must be the reason. When I replaced mine, I used pb blaster and it still refused to budge. I ended up cutting through the wiper arm base with a dremel. Even after splitting the round base in half, I still had to cut through from the back to get the back half off the stem. If you have the same problem, I'd try a great puller (I didn't have one).
