Modem upgrade is now complete. The part number for the modem upgrade is: AMMU7J - A00A25 - DA. Part price: CDN$599.95. Install cost: CDN$159.95. As far as I know the modem is supplied based on the model and year of the vehicle and is not tied to the VIN. Hope this helps anyone considering the upgrade.

I am having this upgrade done on Wednesday, February, 9. I have been quoted $936 (CAD) all taxes in. I'll post part numbers when I get the invoice.

This happened to me as well, First with driver's side then about 3 months later with the passenger's side. The solution was to replace both mirrors - fortunately under warranty.

Had this happen to me twice. The first time required a reflash of the entertainment module at the dealership. The second time it was an electrical "hiccup" that was cured by disconnecting the ground wire from the battery terminal, pressing and holding the brake pedal for 30 seconds and then reconnecting the ground wire to the battery.

I am using the latest version of the Lincoln Way app on my iPhone 6s. I can no longer see what the remaining oil life is when using the app. Has this feature been removed?

If your vehicle is a 2016 then, yes, it should have front sensors located in the bumper. They are the same color as the bumper and may be a little hard to see at first glance.

It sounds like the setting for the rear camera has been changed so that Rear Camera Delay is set to ON. To change it follow this information. Camera System Settings To access any of the rear view camera system settings, make the following selections in the multifunctional display when the transmission is not in reverse (R): Main Menu Settings Vehicle Camera Settings Enhanced Park Aids or Park Pilot Selectable settings for this feature are ON and OFF. The system uses red, yellow and green highlights that appear on top of the video image when any of the sensing systems detect an object. Rear Camera Delay Selectable settings for this feature are ON and The default setting for the rear camera delay is OFF. When shifting the transmission out of reverse (R) and into any gear other than park (P), the camera image remains in the display until: • Your vehicle speed sufficiently increases. • You shift your vehicle into park (P).

I didn't receive the offer you refer to but, I did do a map update in the summer of 2018. You can check on this site to see if an update is available for your vehicle.

milcol, There are actually six documents included in the documentation package that come with the car. They are: 1. Warranty Guide 2. Tire Warranty Guide 3. Sync 3 Supplement 4. Quick Reference Guide 5. Owner's Manual 6. SiriusXM Information

I too have rain sensing wipers and have had the wipers speed up on their own when the rainfall is very heavy. Once they have "satisfied" themselves that they can keep the window clear they slow down again.

Noob question, how to fold in mirrors for automatic car wash
Ruby replied to flyman_27's topic in 2016 MKX
This is from page 102 of the User Manual: You can fold the mirrors on demand by pressing the power-folding mirror control located on the door. The control lights and the mirrors fold in toward the glass. Press the control again to unfold the mirrors. The control light turns off. Note: If you use the power-folding control to fold the mirrors on demand and the auto fold feature is switched on, you must use the control again to unfold them. The control being referenced is located on the driver's door just below the round mirror adjustment control with four arrows on it. There are two power fold buttons. The left one folds the mirrors in and the right one folds the mirrors out. -

I have installed the latest update that was pushed out to the Lincoln App on the iPhone. The what's new description includes information that says it will now enable the MKX to become a mobile hotspot, that it will provide a tire pressure gauge and distance-to-empty information. I have not been able to "see" any of the new features on the app. Has anyone else used the updated app? If so, where can the new features be found?

thisguy, I used a set of plastic trim removal tools. The one that worked the best is the one shaped much like a crow bar. I placed a credit card under the tool to prevent marking the surround area. The tools are available from Harbor Freight or similar type of supply store. They are not very expensive. https://www.harborfreight.com/5-piece-auto-trim-and-molding-tool-set-67021.html
