    2021 Nautilus

Any news on 2021 Nautilus changes like HUD or increase in dash info screen size. Hard finding anything news worthy on the internet. Corsair and Aviator seem to be what Lincoln is concentrating on for all selling. I'm sure no outward appearance is planned but wheel options would be a big plus. My 2 yr lease on 2019 Nautilus Reserve is up in November and would like to stay with Nautilus. Got one of the earliest Nautilus and had a few problems "out of the gate" but dealership & eventually Ford Co. handled them okay.

    2021 Nautilus

Got 24K on my Nautilus 2.7L and love it versus the turbo 4. Got it in November of 2018. Strictly my preference but the 2.7L sounds and feels better than the 4 under full throttle. Drove the Acura RDX turbo 4 prior to choosing (MKX) Nautilus and decided I had to have V6. The loaner Corsair turbo 4 I had for a week was a surprise and a great responsive engine but strictly in city driving and again my preference is the 2.7L V6. GM's 3.6L is no match this engine. Made some arrangements to hold on to my Nautilus until at least Feb. Will look over my options then.

    2021 Nautilus

A few weeks ago I had a new Corsair as a loner for a week having my Nautilus in for problems. Very nice vehicle, great response, well engineered and the 4 banger surprised me with acceleration and shifting. The physical size driving was my only problem as I'm accustom to a bigger wheelbase and 190"-200" length. When you're in that range there's allot of 3 row seating and very little to compare to the Nautilus.

    2021 Nautilus

Lots of information here today as "akirby" noted. Large, heavy key fob can now be part of my cell phone which is a big plus. I suspect lots of small details coming in the months ahead before production. Disappointed HUD not part of accessories. Looking forward to updates of info.

    2021 Nautilus

With the Nautilus production start of late January 2021 I suspect there will be small clips of something every few weeks. Should be interesting to see what's up on November 20th news break. Could make this a 2022 Nautilus and eliminate 2021 designation. MDX will skip 2021 designation and introduce there new redesign as a 2022 late in January. BEV's and covid really keeps things interesting to speculate.

    2021 Nautilus

I'm keeping an eye out too. I'm reading order bank date of 10/28/2020.

    2021 Nautilus

Job 1 pushed out that much is somewhat surprising to me with the new dash photos posted awhile back. I realize this is not a final production line photo. Seems to be all over the industry as I hear the new MDX is pushed into Feb. 2021. Still think Nautilus has a captured market with 2.7 V6, 2 row and a good value on what you get. Guess I agree that maybe the future Nautilus will be in the BEV's family. Funny thing is the my dealership doesn't know as much as this form does. I'll stay tuned here.

Nautilus and Edge may be dropped

It appears that Bev's will dominate Oakville but where does that leave MKX(Nautilus) productions a few years out. Is China still in the cards for the only assembly. Hope not.

Nautilus and Edge may be dropped

From what I read from Ford Authority, Nautilus will indeed be dropped from Oakville Plant in July 2024. Assembly will go to China. Wonder if (MKX) Nautilus will survive. 2021-2023 sales here will certainly suffer. Sad to see production leaving North America. Nautilus is such a great vehicle with that 2.7L.

Thanks. This is the place for update information.

    2021 Nautilus

Looks like it wouldn't take long to add up to 70+K with adding options. Starts @ 60K with a V6 unless I read wrong. Nice vehicle. Still waiting for news on 2021Nautilus which is probably 6 weeks out yet. Dealership tells me they don't know anything either. Should I believe that?

Nautilus and Edge may be dropped

UNIFOR contract definitely weighs in here. One would think that Nautilus (MKX) has had enough sales volume to substantiate keeping manufacturing here in North America. Certainly gives some thought for anyone considering future leases and purchases.

    2021 Nautilus

Yes, I agree with all. Lincoln has a captured market with the Nautilus (MKX) if your looking for a 2 row, average wheelbase and a great engine in the 2.7 V6. I was a GM follower for years and believe me they have nothing in this category to match up to Nautilus. Little early to start my search but good to hear others take on this. Thanks.

    21" Wheels

You stated the obvious. Hope someone from the Lincoln sees your good Post. Guess I should approach my dealership once again on this subject.

    21" Wheels

Really dresses it up and looks exceptional. Seems like Lincoln Parts department would jump in and offer these through the dealership and make a buck or two. Looked at Detroit Wheel last December for my white Reserve and wondered about quality and such. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Transmission shift between 2nd and 3rd

Tech things that I wouldn't have imagined years ago. I started out with a clutch and stick to change gears.

Transmission shift between 2nd and 3rd

Had something similar happen too between 4 & 5 while in Drive. I was told by service rep that depending on how hard your on the accelerator the transmission might skip a gear depending on engine RPM. As Cosmos36 and tech said, no issue & nothing strange.

    Job 2?

Yes, HUD is not in the plans for awhile on allot of current 2019 SUV's. Only on RDX, RX350, SQ5 & couple others. The demand is there but cost prohibited. Have not found any after market HUD that would pass muster for my Nautilus Reserve

    MKX/Nautilus back to sales leader

Got 600 miles on my Nautilus. Been a GM owner for decades. Tried Nissan briefly. The Nautilus 2.7L is terrific as is the ride and handling. It should sell well to those who have never tried Lincoln.

    New Start/Stop feature

Guess shutting down the engine for 5 to 30 seconds, then starting up with a bust of fuel to 600RPM+ seems not only hard on the starter but not cost effective for mileage. I'm sure this has been studied before implemented but sounds like pennies saved at best.

    New Start/Stop feature

Much appreciated advice. This forum is great for help.

    New Start/Stop feature

Okay, I'm a novice. I'd like to permanently disable this feature on my Nautilus. Forscan is a software, I assume, and only a Lincoln dealer "Might" disable it. Am I right about that?

    Detroit Free Press preview (Sept.)

In this short of time, it sounds more like a few hundred rolling at best.

    Detroit Free Press preview (Sept.)

Video road tests and commentary are appearing so Oakville has been moving them out.

    Potential 2019 Nautilus purchasers.

Oakville plant has been quite as to Nautilus start up 9/4/18. Any sightings of production movements.
