BAYLENSMAN Posted March 1, 2019 Report Share Posted March 1, 2019 So i park the MKX in the same spot ever night. Right in front of the house. I always drive with the windows upend the AC on (florida living) last night after dinner we came home I parked the car and hit the key fob once, sets the locks but not the alarm. This morning at 5 am i go out and the car is locked but both front windows are 3/4 down!! Now at one point in the evening I did here a car alarm briefly but it was on then off in like 5 seconds, I didn't even think it was mine. My question is what could cause this? Is there a combination of button presses on the key that will lower the windows that i may have hit by accident? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
akirby Posted March 2, 2019 Report Share Posted March 2, 2019 Holding down the unlock button activates global open if you have that feature. You don’t have to hit the lock button twice to turn on the alarm. It turns on whenever you lock it. Hitting it twice just makes it chirp.
