mjbaker
What are the real options for factory style tires for a 2016 lincoln mkx reserve? It has the factory 245/50R20 wheels and I believe Pirelli's. I will have to check tomorrow. I have found Pirelli, Hankook, etc. thanks! thisguy159
Im also interested on your opinions on tires would also like real ones as imaginary ones tend to get bad reviews. The stock are hankook 20 in. Some here complained about noise from them not an issue for me but if there are better options I would certainly like to look. I'm at 45k on my tires now have probably another 5k-10k left on mine and would only entertain all season ones.
akirby
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=CSTAS Usually can't go wrong with Michelins but they're pricey.
thisguy159
So I know of tirerack reviews but like anything else buyers high makes them like what they bought and all of them being new are better then what they had. I'm hoping to get some illustrious members here to provide some more educated opinion. I would also like somebody to randomly jump in and tell us all about the benefits of 14 in wheel with large sidewalls and the improvement in ride it provides. daver75
Just after Christmas, I went to Sams Club and put 4 new Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus tires on my MKX for about $670 out the door. I have these on another vehicle and I remain impressed with the improved handling and reduction of road noise they provide. I chose them over the Michelin's primarily due to their price and my previous experience. thisguy159
mjbaker
I ended up buying the OEM Hankook's and will have them put on this week.
thisguy159
Any reason you stuck to the OEM s?

Ours were fine until they hit about 20K and then they got really noisy. Might have just been one bad tire though. Only have about 5K on the replacements (replaced at 25K).
