walkabout
The revel system is great but lots of cats have great stereo systems. You could have also had the revel in a MKX reserve, so it's not like you were forced into a BL. Not criticizing you, just saying you likely had a number of God reasons for your purchase. Personally, I do care about MPG. It's not about $ though. It's about being responsible. Edited June 10, 2018 by walkabout

Adam
Reserve trim has a lower resale value (easily up to $7,000 less) than Black Label. Moot point for you, being that you’re planning on driving it forever. And $7,000? I’m betting that’s another one of your made-up figures. EnMoCo
Reserve trim has a lower resale value (easily up to $7,000 less) than Black Label.. So...Reserve models have" too many cheap plastics " AND "are worth at least $7000 " less than a Black Label edition? You should be reminded, again, that, as of yet, you neither own, tend, feed, or posess the knowledge of the MKX you claim to own in your profile displayed. The inane and ridiculous comments, and "facts" that you have displayed, for all to see(including potential buyers who are looking here for HONEST information). I trust you will keep your further posts to real experiences and convey to the readers of this forum proven, factual information. I have, to some degree, enjoyed your previous posts for their absurdity and have responded in, as others, an attempted comedic manner. It is not my intention to insult you as I only wish for your relevance in this public forum.

akirby
The highest priced Reserve is $43K. The highest price Black Label is $44K. You’re statements are getting more ridiculous by the minute.

akirby
Walt - the difference you’re seeing is because some Reserves have none of the equipment that is standard on Black Label. You can’t compare averages when Reserve has such a large price range. Comparably equipped with similar mileage will NOT be a $7K price difference. No way no how. And dealers don’t follow KBB retail value - they sell for whatever they think they can get which depends on local inventory and local market conditions. Dealers of the western region only use KBB figures. Other regions( the remainder of the country) use Black Book or NADA book(National Automobile Dealers Association)
