Buzz12
Hi guys, new problem here. I had 3 cars that worked with home link, Escape, Corvette and 2011 MKX. I purchased a new X to replace the 11. When I programmed the new X the other cars didn't work, no problem - I reprogrammed the others. Then the garage door keypad didn't work. Reprogrammed that then the Vette didn't work. Even went out and bought all new remotes and door keypad. My problem is one of the remotes, keypad or cars will not work after programming all of them, when before they all cooperated. Raynor navigator garage door opener with red/orange learn button. Clicker door key pad and clicker remote controls. Any ideas?
akirby
Sounds like the opener only remembers 4 codes (including the keypad). Check the owner's manual.
Buzz12
I would agree, except they all worked before and I just substituted one MKX for another. Same amount of cars and clickers, unless there is a memory issue in the opener that has to be reset or eliminated? I will check the manual, thanks.. akirby
Oh sorry I missed that you were just replacing one vehicle. Yes, the old MKX is probably still in the memory. Did you try reprogramming all current vehicles and the keypad?
jbiancolli
In most cases a garage opener will last through multiple cars but their codes will remain in memory. I had to google a solution and I cleared the memory and started from scratch. I can now start my collection again
akirby
To clear all codes press and hold the learn button for 6 seconds until the light goes out.
Buzz12
I think clearing the memory is what I am going to try next. Getting tough to get up and down that ladder after reprogramming cars, keypads and remote controls several times! . Thanks..
