Since our service last Thursday the Lights for the Drive, Park, etc and also the selection to get to the camera set of icons are only on when the car is running but only the one selected. So if we want to go from Drive to Reverse we need to remember their positions! How do we turn these back on! They used to be great!

We had other things to do yesterday but it did work so we will need to see what happens again and we did have masks on!

Yes we will plan to do that as we decided to test it without going to the store. ?

OK, but that is not what is going on. She does have an oil change at the dealers and we can have him see what is going on and I will post if they find anything.

Well, I can tell her but I do believe that her fob is always in her purse and that she can open/close it at any other time except when going to pick up grocery's. I can have her test it again.

Yes, the keyfob was in the car as it was in my wifes purse as always. Why would that matter?

We have a strange problem with our 2016 MKX. All seems OK trying to close the Power Liftgate. However, if we leave it open for a few minutes, none of the buttons will close it. Not on the dash, the door or even the one on the lid itself. It goes a little way and stops. If it is pushed again it goes up. The only way to close it is to get out of the car and manually push it down. We have noticed this as it always works except if we go to get grocery's at 2 separate stores and have them bring them to us at curbside pickup. So, is there a timer where it is deactivated after it has been opened for a time and can we configure it?

Great...my wife was looking for a fog light switch. We have had fog in Portland lately!

Hello ALL; We were wondering if our 2016 MKX with almost every option has Fog Lights. If so, where is the switch? Thank You

Well the FOB is in my wife's purse so she has not bent over and tripped it.

Hello ALL: We have a serious issue that the dealer can not fix. We have a 2016 MKX with every option. We have a serious issue with the lift gate closing on its own. This does not happen every time but when we load or unload the rear, it often closes on our head! This does not happen every time and we thought that we may have had our feet get near it, but that is not the case. It has closed when were several feet away from the rear bumper. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a known fix?

I am not sure this is specific to our year but we just have a 2016. As you know, we have 3 seat memories. They were OK, but all of a sudden Memory 1 moves the seat forward all the way so there little clearance to the wheel. Memory 2 and 3 are OK and we can go back and forth. If we press 1 again, it does respond with most of the correct settings, but does not remember the forward seat setting. The other 2 work OK and this just seems strange. We have positioned the seat correctly and pressed 1 again to re save it, but the same thing happens if we go to 2 or 3 and then back to 1. Any ideas?

Well, what sensors should we look at. Four were mentioned, but where are they as there are many.

Hello ALL: We have a 2016 MKX with about every option. Most works OK but we have been getting a warning going off like an object in the way, but nothing is anywhere near. This can not be demonstrated to a dealer as it is so intermittent. Sometimes it is even in a parking lot and other times when we are stopped at a light, it goes off when there is nothing ANYWHERE even near us. We hate to ignore it and we have even gotten out of the car and looked when in a parking lot and there is NOTHING there. Is there a sensitivity adjustment or has anyone else had this happen? Is there any fix? Thank you all for any help.
