Try starting your car or unlocking your car from the app. You should hear it every time. You are right though, once it happens after you unlock your car, it doesn’t occur for any unlocking within a small period of time.

So my nautilus also makes this same whirly noise as I walk up to the car. In addition, anytime I perform any function from the app, it makes that noise first. What in the hell hell I’d that whirly noise? Has anyone figured it out?

The last 5 of the vin is 33792. The car was just built in the beginning of this March. I should of honestly looked at it before I took it home. Do you think the dealer can fix that miss alignment or am I better off to leave it alone. Also, do anyone of your vehicles make that weird noise when using the Lincoln way app to remotely control your car?

So I finally picked up my new Reserve Nautilus today. As I drove the car home and played with the new features, I noticed 3 issues that are bugging me. 1. Steering wheel is not centered when driving. No big deal, I can bring it back for an alignment. 2. When I use the Lincoln way app to lock, unlock, or start the car, the car makes a weird noise before the correct function occurs. This noise is 100% not the sound of a relay energizing. It’s a very odd noise that is concerning but the wireless features are working. 3. Fit and finish on the hood are terrible. I’ve included both the driver side and passenger side of the hood where you can see the gaps. Is this common? Can this be adjusted at the dealership?

I stopped by as they just completed the issue. Looks like the Nautilus has a faulty turbo sensor. They told me the car will be ready to be picked up on Monday.

So just like everyone else, I was very excited about ordering a nautilus. I ordered my car in December and last week, I received a call from Lincoln randomly asking how I like my Nautilus. When I stated I haven’t received my car yet, they said that’s odd as my car arrived 2 weeks ago. The rep on the phone stated they would inquire about it and get back to me. 30 min later, I received a call from my salesman stating that there was a check engine light on my virgin Nautilus and they had to order some special part. He also stated Ford engineering would be onsite to perform the repair. When I asked why ford engineering and not Lincoln techs, the salesman said it’s a new car and sometimes you get different alarms. A week later, still no car. What the hell? Anyone experience anything like this before? At this point, I want a different car but I also ordered the car exactly how I wanted and I don’t want to wait another 90 days.

For the most part, my MKX has been flawless, but this has happened 3 times in 6 months. I wil pull in to my destination, place the car in park, and for 5 seconds or so, I hear a wooooshing sound of a liquid back and forth. Has this happened to anyone?

Lincoln sells an OEM after new purchase trailer hitches for the MKC's and older MKX's. Does anyone have any experience with these or how do they look compared to an original factory installed option? When I called the local dealership, I was told that at this time, the OEM trailer hitch is not available for the 2016 model but will come out sometime this year. I am even thinking about ordering the factory trailer hitch and lower plastic bumper with the hitch cut out for a true factory look if its possible.

If you are traveling at a high rate of speed, pushing the button will not stop the car. If you are traveling at a slower speed, it will shut down the car. Now what the speed cut off is, I am not sure about that.

The previous generation mkx required an oil change at 7500. The 2016 mkx oil life has been extended to 10,000. What are your thoughts? Do you guys think it's too long and a bad idea?

My 2016 mkx does not have the modem. Couldn't it be possible to start your car if it is connected to a wifi network?

That I am aware of. But are the my Lincoln touch's going to get a free upgrade to sync 3 or will they forever by obsolete?

Just so I am clear, a 2016 mkx with my Lincoln touch is not going to get a free upgrade to sync 3 later in the year?
