I have a 2015 Lincoln MKX that has a intermittent thumping sound coming from the front of the vehicle while going slow ( under 10 mph ) over gravel or dirt roads. It is not the tires or the brakes. We are getting ready to sell the vehicle and get a new 2024 Ford Ranger and would like to fix it if possible.

Hello all, Our 2015 Lincoln MKX with the chrome ( Fake ) 20 inch rims has a rim leak. Has anyone else seen this problem? I wish I would have gotten the aluminum wheels instead. We have had a lot of issues with these wheels, 3 times the tire shops have cracked them during new tire installs. They did buy us new rims. Plus no matter how hard I try to clean them they still look like crap. Any help on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I am a 65 year old, retired FoMoCo Experimental / Prototype Engine Mechanic. My wife and I retired January 1st 2022 and moved from southern Michigan to our home in GOD's country ( Northern MI. ). I purchased both my new 2015 Ford F150 and my wife's 2015 Lincoln MKX in the summer of 2015. I have done all the maintenance on both vehicles myself religiously. Last winter I noticed the paint bubbling on both my wife's rear doors on the inside near the seam lines. Just got through sanding them down and spraying with Rust-Oleum paint. Just wondering if anyone is seeing this on their MKX's. Granted she has driven it in 8 Michigan winters now but there are no other signs of rust on the body.
