  1. Dallas150/ Thank you very much for such detailed DIY instructions! You are the man! Your way of thinking and working is exactly like mine, we could probably be friends if lived nearby I ran into some problems with my new TCU, perhaps you or someone else will be able to help me out. My new 4g TCU was sourced from 2020 Ford Ranger, details from Forscan as follows: TCU - Telematic Control Unit Module Part number: LB5T-14G087-SH Calibration level: LB5T-14G087-SR Strategy: LB5T-14G139-SR I tried to reflash firmware on it using same exact .vbf files you saved on Google Drive, just like you did in Custom mode in Forscan, but it ends up in error (see screenshot). Do you think this TCU model is not compatible to flash with different .vbf files or what is the cause of this error? Or should .zip archives be chosen instead of .vbf files in Custom mode in Forscan? The car is 2016 Lincoln MKX Black Label with Sync 3 system with 3.4 firmware on it. Also does anybody know the source to obtain .vbf modules firmware files nowadays for any vehicle by VIN or part numbers, perhaps some third-party database? From what I understand Ford blocked access to them, only 2kb .asp calibration files are possible to download from Ford site and how do we use/apply them in Forscan? 2kb is not the size to contain any firmware updates, so what are these .asp files for? Also, what are the differences between "Calibration level", "Calibration" and "Strategy" and their roles/purposes in different modules? Please explain if you can. Thank you again!
  2. Maybe on earlier models but 2016 MKX has only the seat position module and 110v power inverter under the passenger seat, I removed the seat completely and climate control module is just not there, so I am looking for help to locate it. Fuses are fine.
  3. Hello! So I replaced the fan/TED assemblies and still problem persists. Has anyone figured where is the physical location of seat cool / heat control module is on this vehicle (2016 MKX)? Under the passenger seat only positions control module and 110v power inverter, no seat climate control module.
  4. But the back of the seats are cooling and heating
  5. Do you know how this part looks like and where it is installed?
  6. Unfortunately I checked the bottom fans on both front seats are blowing. And still no heating or cooling under my butt when seating on them. What else can be the problem? Any help would be much appreciated
  7. Here it is if anyone else needs it: Part #: 19N550Ahttps://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/suspension/ride-control/blower-assy-vent-air-ccs-6396749-1
  8. Thank you. Are there part numbers for the failed bottom section fans and / or schematics of these seats?
  9. We have this problem on our 2016 Lincoln MKX Black Label: the back of the front seats are warming and cooling and we can hear the fans blowing when the functions are turned on, but the bottoms of the seats are not warming nor cooling anymore. First, this happened to the front passenger seat, then a few months later - to driver's seat. What can be the problem? Are there 2 fans per seat and 1 of them failed or what? Any help would be much appreciated!
