  1. At what mileage should the transmission fluid be changed? I don't see it in the manual nor can find anything from Lincoln that supports what the dealership told me: 60,000 miles.
  2. Same happened to me immediately leaving service department at a dealership. Car was there over a week. No bad sensors when dropped off. When dealership looked, front grill was cracked both sides of car near headlights, same locations. Dealership did not own up to damaging my car. One of multiple destructive services at this dealership. Eventually Lincoln paid for their incompetence and the work was correctly done at another Lincoln dealership. Lincoln customer service stepped up to the plate.
  3. Take a read over at the edge forum. A lot on this. Many complaints especially when cold. My 17' MKX has this same issue with creaks and rattles in the roof, headliner, between the glass moon roof sections. It's in for paneling replacements after another dealership butchered my interior when replacing the moon roof shade. I'm sure there are more than headliner clips broken etc after being butchered.
  4. 18 miles each way to work. Mix of highway included. ~30min. in morning, 30-40min commute home. Car had about 25k miles when battery died in May. Car was in for service just a few weeks prior for driver's side door replacement. Battery tested fine on that service record.
  5. Back in May, my battery was completely dead on my '17. So dead that the power steering was completely disabled, I needed a tow to go literally 2 blocks to my Lincoln dealership across the street from where I work. Dealership did come over across the street to jump it though. What an ordeal! Waited 90 minutes for the tow as Lincoln Roadside Assistance did not call a local tow service. If you ever have to use Roadside Assistance make sure the agent knows EXACTLY where you are Lincoln paid for the tow and a new battery.
  6. I'm with you guys on this too. The Revel Ultima is disappointing. The EQ and different stage/audience choice results are minimal. Another issue is the NAV voice is muffled over the background audio. The background audio does not drop in volume nor does the speed compensating volume control work. There's a service bulletin on the speed compensating volume issue. I brought it to the attention of my service dealer. It was reprogrammed according to the bulletin. It did not change a thing. If you have driven a 2019 Nautilus, like I have, the audio background drops significantly to hear DISTINCTLY the nav voice. I have given up on my 2017 Reserve MKX, it is now in negotiations with a lemon law attorney and Lincoln. I loved this car, but unfortunately Lincoln has disappointed in reliability, function and longevity, and customer service.
  7. I am currently working with a lemon law attorney group.
  8. The fuel tank parts on order came in and not much improvement to be honest. The door check broke again which was reordered again. When brought in for repair, I was told the driver's DOOR WELDS ARE BAD, and a new door would be ordered. The door is on back order. According to the dealer that worked on my gas tank, has been waiting for a door for another customer since November!!! I contacted Lincoln concierge as I am fed up with this LEMON. Lincoln has no clue when a door will be available. I have no confidence in my car. I initiated the process for Lincoln to repurchase my '17 MKX as I label it a LEMON with too many issues. After Lincoln reviewed my case and service history, I was DENIED a repurchase. I was offered free tire rotations and oil changes for a few years for compensation. How pathetic can Lincoln be!! In the meantime, I drive with a drafty door, with wind noise, and quick condensation on window and windshield near driver's door. Unacceptable.
  9. While my car was being serviced for the door rattle, I asked to drive another MKX as to compare wind noise. It was an '18 loaner though. Night and day difference. My '17 seems to eat and absorb the wind. The '18 cut through, very quiet ride. The weather stripping that was replaced in my above post did not resolve the wind noise. Dealer did resolve the door rattle (left a bolt inside my door panel). C'MON! However, I had the replaced door check re-evaluated as it ballooned the paneling when door is at full open. Once again, another door check has to be ordered which means taking apart my driver's side door AGAIN. Is this ever going to end Lincoln? I just want to drive in peace, comfort, and happiness.
  10. Got my car back the other day. Driver's door glass top run was replaced. Part #FA1Z 5821597 C. Not convinced it resolved the wind noise. On top of it, whatever the dealer did during the repair, my driver's side door rattles when closing the door. Something is loose. I'm bringing it back in friday. I'm getting frustrated with this car and dealer.
  11. Double post. How did that happen? Where's the delete button?
  12. Same here on my '17. Mine started after the driver's side door check was replaced. To fix that, the door had to be completely disassembled. I brought it back and it was confirmed some "weather stripping" has to be replaced. That will be fixed January 7/8th. I will report back then on the outcome.
  13. Update: I took it into another dealership per discussion with Lincoln concierge. The dealer contacted me today stating Lincoln released a TSB on December 14th concerning fuel tanks. Parts are now on order. Should be at dealer in a few weeks. My original service on this issue was December 11th. Hopefully this will remedy the sloshing and thumping.

  15. https://www.weathertech.com/products/ Top notch products. I'll be getting a sunshade for my '17 soon. I already have their floor liners and cargo mat. Plus in house door mats.
  16. Even with a full tank, I still hear it.
  17. I have an appointment next week at another dealership for a second opinion.
  18. My CPO 17' had issues too if inspected thoroughly per checklist. Cracked driver's side mirror and undercarriage retention clips broken. Both issues resolved though.
  19. I took mine in for service today. My complaint about this was verified with the technician. I was told everything checked out per spec. I said I bought a car, not a rolling bath tub. Who else experiences this? Do I take it to another dealer?
  20. Been through numerous noises on my MKX. Dash vibrations, undercarriage clips broken, driver door check creaking ( which was replaced) eventually led to excessive wind and road noise, panoramic shade grunting. Now when stopping or placing in park, the momentum is causing the gas in the fuel tank to swoosh and thump at an obnoxious level. I'm having my doubts at this point.
  21. If a cell phone charger is left in the cigarette lighter port does it drain the car battery?
  22. I had issues too. I was told from concierge chat agent to log off and log back in. It worked.
  23. 2017 MKX Reserve. I saw the video clip that says the key fab can global open and close windows along with moon roof. While it said hold the unlock button for 3 seconds to open, my key fab takes 2 quick presses and then you have to hold. The windows will open. Nothing happens to the panoramic roof.
  24. Thank you. My thoughts leaned towards the center speaker as the issue too. Seems most of the nav voice comes from there and farts out or it sounds like a blanket over the speaker. I am due for service next month. Hopefully it will be resolved during that appointment.
