  1. We have the 13 speaker Revel speaker system in our 2017 MKX. Sound quality is very good. Very good bass if turned up a bit (i.e 10-15). Came from 14 speaker Lexicon system in a Genesis and while really enjoyed the Lexicon system have found the Revel system even better. No complaints on our end.
  2. I have the adaptive HID headlights. Within the first week of getting the MKX and heading home from a Sunday dinner with my parents I got flashed by about 90% of the oncoming vehicles I met on the road (over 30 minute drive in the country). Prior to the MKX I had the 2015 Genesis with HID and definitely did not have this type of response from oncoming traffic. As a result, took the time to review the forums and see that this high low beam headlight issue seems to affect the MKX on a regular basis. Took some painters tape and pulled into a close industrial area with a good vertical wall building with level pavement and re-adjusted the vertical position of the headlights based on the instructions in the owners manual. Thought about setting up an appointment with the dealership but it honestly only took me 30 minutes in total to resolve and it was very easy to do. The adjustments are right on top of the engine bay and could be handled with the standard #2 Philips screwdriver. I agree that I've never had a vehicle come from factory where I've needed to do this before. But I do have to say the lights on the MKX are excellent and actually much better than my Genesis HIDs at lighting up the road (prior to adjustment and after as well). After adjusting, took it for another drive and not a single flash back! :-)
  3. I took delivery of a new 2017 Lincoln MKX Reserve 2.7L MKX recently. It had 500 km at the time. I've noticed that on a very regular basis when driving and then coming to a stop the engine revs between 500-1000 RPM for anywhere from 10-30 seconds before settling down. The engine has fully reached operating temperature and I'm running in Comfort mode most of the time. Looking to confirm if anyone else with the 2.7L has experienced this behaviour and consider it normal or had it looked at with a dealer service department and if there was a successful resolution. Outside of this particular issue and the high headlight issue I've been very much enjoying the 2017 Lincoln. We traded in our 2015 Genesis Sedan and are very pleased with the comfort and power of the MKX.
