Update: I took it to the dealer for a recall and told them about the mirror issue at the same time. The "idiot" at the desk tried to tell me it was an optional feature that my vehicle didn't have; but on my insistence he put it on the work order. The mechanic was able to find the problem and was able to turn the option on. So now it works and I can shut the mirror unfold feature on and off. However I didn't realize before left that the "Neutral Towing" feature was still not there. Oh well, guess I'll deal with that another time --- "next recall".

Hi Rick, Thanks for your interest, but as you can see in the attached photo there is no "Mirror" option between between Locks and Oil Life. I was hoping that someone else had come across this and knew if there was a fix for it.

Thanks for the reply Rick. Unfortunately when I go into settings/vehicle the "Mirror" option or the "Neutral Towing" option aren't there. I have one of the earlier models that was built in November 2015 (MyFord sync 2) so I suspect that the software was changed at some point; but I wondered if anyone would know that for a fact and if so; I wonder if there is some sort of upgrade that would make the mirror option available.

I have a 2016 MKX Reserve with auto folding mirrors. During the winter I would like to shut this feature off as it seems hard on the small motors and I have issues with them sometimes not folding in extreme cold weather. The manual shows how to turn off this "unfold mirrors" feature, however, when I go into the settings the option is not there. Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone know if there is a fix for this ---- such as a firmware/software upgrade? Thanks

I am thinking of upgrading my phone to a Samsung S8 and am driving a 2016 MKX with My Lincoln Touch. Does the S8 sync up OK with that system? Lincoln's online compatibility list only goes as high as the S6. I would like to hear from anyone that has the S8 and what features they can use. Thank you
