It means she left with the only working key and it’s letting you know not to drive off without a working key, Try it with her fob only. Then check your fob batteries.

2016 MKX with stuck/clicking/jerking mirror(s). Been basically living with it. But now, I also have an intermittent parasitic battery drain. Replaced 4 yr old battery...same thing with new battery...sometime 24-48 hours, battery is dead. Simultaneously with parasitic battery drain, been starting to get a message on the dash at start up "remote battery low, replace soon" (something like that). Now, this has degraded to remote not working at all unless I rest it in it birthing spot to start the car (inside bottom of console). Could these all be related?

I have a 2015 Lincoln MKX that has a intermittent thumping sound coming from the front of the vehicle while going slow ( under 10 mph ) over gravel or dirt roads. It is not the tires or the brakes. We are getting ready to sell the vehicle and get a new 2024 Ford Ranger and would like to fix it if possible.

About 6 months ago my driver's seat heat / AC stopped working. Then a few months after that the rear hatch intermittently stopped working and at the same time that was acting up the side collision detectors would go off at random times. Then I woke up one morning to a completely dead battery. Replaced the battery and the car worked fine for a few days except the drivers seat climate still didn't work. Then the rear hatch inside sensor thing started up intermittently again. Woke up again this morning to a completely dead battery. Was again able to jumpstart it and again the rear hatch worked once but then stopped working again. I have no idea if they are all related but I have gone down many rabbit holes to no avail. I have tried disconnecting the battery and touching the positive and negative together to discharge everything to try and reset modules. Does anybody have any idea what might be going on? I have an appt next week to get it checked out since it seems out of my know how but thought I would check here also.

Because these are complicated, interconnected systems. It's not something a layman would understand. However, if the reader understands what the manual refers to, then it may help for them to understand where to start. Anyway, DTC stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). SJB stands for Smart Junction Box. You know it as the fuse panel (although its much, much more than that.) BJB stands for Battery Junction Box, a fused power distribution center located in the engine compartment. DSM stands for drivers seat module. This module handles several different, somewhat interconnected systems. For example, when you unlock the door, this module moves the drivers seat back and resets the mirrors, etc. It does this depending one which FOB your unlocking the door with. There are other functions it controls as well.

I just bought a 2007 MKX for my 88 year old father and it seems sirius XM radio is not available with the radio in the car. My question is can I buy a different radio and get Sirius XM satellite radio or are there other components necessary? I never even thought it would be unavailable in a 2007 Lincoln. I am including a picture of the radio that is in the car now. Any help is appreciated and please explain without abreviations as I am unfamiliar with some of the terms used for different components. Thank you!!! I just installed it. Took me longer to figure out I forgot to download the obdii adapter driver than the update. My 2016 Mkx now has thr 4g. It was the first time I ever did something 1, 2, 3... I really can't believe the software part was practically plug and play for me but I made sure the modem started with a J. I just didn't run a Hotspot antenna yet.

I have had the modem upgrade done at the dealership. The LincolnWay app mostly works. The tire pressures are not being displayed in the app as they should. All I see are 4 red squares, one at each tire. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? If so, can anyone help me out to fix the issue. I recently had the cabin air filter changed on my 2016 Lincoln MKX. Now AC only working on lower level and defrost. Top vents not blowing at all.

I have a Blue Ox tow bar with face plate for sale. Installed on my 2013 MKX but never used, so excellent condition. All parts, hardware and instructions included.$350 plus shipping for both pieces.

Anyone find roof cross bars that work on a nautilus? I can't find anything that isn't the expensive Thule or yakima universal ones and want to know if anything will work before I start spending money

As no one else answered, I'll take a stab at what I know. 1. ACU not working when cold. Sounds like a defective unit (radio). I'd buy a replacement off Ebay and drop it in. Couple hundred. 2. Rear camera is probably the cause, but the audio control unit, the radio, has a video board in it to display the image from the camera. If replacing the radio fixes it, good. If not, new camera. 3. Replace the radio. 4. A/C blows cold on one enemy side means one of the actuators is defective. (Very common.) There are fixes by recycling the actuators but once they start to go bad, best to just replace. 5. Oil pressure light. Could just be a sensor problem. Are you running to oil described in your manual? Check the quality? Checked to make certain that there's no coolant in the oil? (Turns the oil a milky color. You didn't say which engine your car has. 4-cyl eco are known to have bad heads between cyl 2 &3 which can blow the gasket and dump coolant into the oil, causing low oil pressure. It's critical to get this fixed asap if so. Destroys the engine if left unchecked.) 6. Replacing the fan. Possibly the fan controller is bad. If you replace fan or controller, buy Motorcraft. Non-Motorcraft are known to be problematic. If you used aftermarket, could be a bad fan. (Been reported widely by others.) If you used Motorcraft, I'd suspect the control unit (located on fan scroud). Most people replace the fan assembly. (Fans, controller & metal shroud.) What I did. Only use Motorcraft. None of the others have a good record.

Hello all, Our 2015 Lincoln MKX with the chrome ( Fake ) 20 inch rims has a rim leak. Has anyone else seen this problem? I wish I would have gotten the aluminum wheels instead. We have had a lot of issues with these wheels, 3 times the tire shops have cracked them during new tire installs. They did buy us new rims. Plus no matter how hard I try to clean them they still look like crap. Any help on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I have a 2013 with 222k miles. I have several issues and i'm wondering if they could all be tied to one module? 1st - The radio will not produce noise when we've had cold weather. i have to cycle the battery, meaning i take the terminal off the battery to reset it. happens so much i put a disconnect under the hood that i turn off and on to make it easy. 2nd - Rear camera is upside down most of the time. 3rd - Only the rear speakers work most of the time - so, the bluetooth phone connection seems like it doesn't work but it's just the front speakers not playing. 4th - AC blows cold on one side and hot on the other. i know how to reset this though, it's just annoying. kinda another issue, probably not related, i have the oil pressure light show up a lot while idling. red lights and such. it seems to be worse in the summer so it scares me that it is an oil pressure issue. i replaced the radiator fans b/c one wasn't working. the problem went away for about a month, then came back. can anyone help with the information provided? thanks a ton!!!!

2013 MKX I just had the push button fall I to the dash like the others above. With some arm twisting and removing one plastic pannel I was able to get it out do I can at least access it. Does anyone have access to the document or video to help me resolve my problem or am I destined to take it to the mechanic? Thanks.

I ended up gluing it back on and I'll see what happens. I applied a very thin bead using a toothpick along the edge of the lens so that the glue only contacted the light assembly and not the car frame.

I just purchased a 2013 MKX. The headlights are good but I find that they are not the brightest. Has anyone replaced theirs? If so, what did you replace with? Thanks,
