  1. The last 3 posts from you folks is news that I feared. The (MKX) Nautilus and one of the best ICE V6's (2.7L) in the market is coasting to the end. Entered the Ford Company vehicle family with the 2019 Nautilus because I heard such good things about the MKX. I tested all the competition before making the leap in the fall of 2018. The dilemma is do I hold onto it or bail. New incentives announced today on the 2021's but the dealers only have one or two. Confusing!
  2. Much appreciated comment "shoeguy". Guess this sets the stage for me. No wonder the sales guy hasn't got back to me. Not sure if I want to wait but at least gives me time to decide. Always good info on this forum.
  3. Not seen any 2021 Nautilus in my area as of yet and my dealer says "4 are in transit". Same story for 4 weeks. Chip shortage has also put the brakes on much of the competition also so my shopping is extended. 2022 MDX seems like the only one not effected by chips at this point with shut downs. Just don't like the 3 row but at least the MDX won't be dead in 2024.
  4. 2021 Acadia has HUD and is okay. Have to get the Denali version however and it seems to turn it into a trailer puller plus it's a 3 row. The GM V6 is dated and not comparable to FMC 2.7L. Wherever I look for an alternate I end up at Nautilus (MKX). Have not ventured to look at the M40i.
  5. Keeping track of Nautilus competitors and as you all have said, this goes throughout the industry. I probably should start looking at what's coming in the 2022 Nautilus (6 months) like maybe HUD will show up as an option. Acura MDX made a smart move to eliminate 2021 model year and call it 2022 model.
  6. 2024 is good news. I have looked at allot of 2 row types and Nautilus (MKX) with 2.7L can't be beat for size, quality and $$. The 3 row 2022 MDX is close in quality but to include all the bells and whistles that Nautilus has, it is 5K more in price and 9" longer.
  7. It appears that the "Build" option for 2021 Nautilus(MKX) is up and running. Have not seen any 2021 in my area to physically look at. Looks like this model will have a short life as BEV will take it's place soon.
  8. I have a early 2019 Reserve and have been waiting to hear anything from my sales rep. Sounds like exactly what I will want from what you've said. I will bring this up "Again" to my dealer about April incentives. Excellent service department with great technicians at my location but "sleepy" sales department. I always think service after the sale is the most important part of the returning customer. More shopping in the weeks ahead.
  9. Yes. Canadian dealerships have had more info on pricing. Perhaps next week we'll see "build & pricing" as I read somewhere Job 1 start up on Jan. 25. Still can't figure out why no HUD as lots of other Ford SUV's (Lincoln) have it.
  10. Got 24K on my Nautilus 2.7L and love it versus the turbo 4. Got it in November of 2018. Strictly my preference but the 2.7L sounds and feels better than the 4 under full throttle. Drove the Acura RDX turbo 4 prior to choosing (MKX) Nautilus and decided I had to have V6. The loaner Corsair turbo 4 I had for a week was a surprise and a great responsive engine but strictly in city driving and again my preference is the 2.7L V6. GM's 3.6L is no match this engine. Made some arrangements to hold on to my Nautilus until at least Feb. Will look over my options then.
  11. A few weeks ago I had a new Corsair as a loner for a week having my Nautilus in for problems. Very nice vehicle, great response, well engineered and the 4 banger surprised me with acceleration and shifting. The physical size driving was my only problem as I'm accustom to a bigger wheelbase and 190"-200" length. When you're in that range there's allot of 3 row seating and very little to compare to the Nautilus.
  12. Lots of information here today as "akirby" noted. Large, heavy key fob can now be part of my cell phone which is a big plus. I suspect lots of small details coming in the months ahead before production. Disappointed HUD not part of accessories. Looking forward to updates of info.
  13. With the Nautilus production start of late January 2021 I suspect there will be small clips of something every few weeks. Should be interesting to see what's up on November 20th news break. Could make this a 2022 Nautilus and eliminate 2021 designation. MDX will skip 2021 designation and introduce there new redesign as a 2022 late in January. BEV's and covid really keeps things interesting to speculate.
  14. I'm keeping an eye out too. I'm reading order bank date of 10/28/2020.
  15. Job 1 pushed out that much is somewhat surprising to me with the new dash photos posted awhile back. I realize this is not a final production line photo. Seems to be all over the industry as I hear the new MDX is pushed into Feb. 2021. Still think Nautilus has a captured market with 2.7 V6, 2 row and a good value on what you get. Guess I agree that maybe the future Nautilus will be in the BEV's family. Funny thing is the my dealership doesn't know as much as this form does. I'll stay tuned here.
  16. It appears that Bev's will dominate Oakville but where does that leave MKX(Nautilus) productions a few years out. Is China still in the cards for the only assembly. Hope not.
  17. From what I read from Ford Authority, Nautilus will indeed be dropped from Oakville Plant in July 2024. Assembly will go to China. Wonder if (MKX) Nautilus will survive. 2021-2023 sales here will certainly suffer. Sad to see production leaving North America. Nautilus is such a great vehicle with that 2.7L.
  18. Thanks. This is the place for update information.
  19. Looks like it wouldn't take long to add up to 70+K with adding options. Starts @ 60K with a V6 unless I read wrong. Nice vehicle. Still waiting for news on 2021Nautilus which is probably 6 weeks out yet. Dealership tells me they don't know anything either. Should I believe that?
  20. UNIFOR contract definitely weighs in here. One would think that Nautilus (MKX) has had enough sales volume to substantiate keeping manufacturing here in North America. Certainly gives some thought for anyone considering future leases and purchases.
  21. Yes, I agree with all. Lincoln has a captured market with the Nautilus (MKX) if your looking for a 2 row, average wheelbase and a great engine in the 2.7 V6. I was a GM follower for years and believe me they have nothing in this category to match up to Nautilus. Little early to start my search but good to hear others take on this. Thanks.
  22. Any news on 2021 Nautilus changes like HUD or increase in dash info screen size. Hard finding anything news worthy on the internet. Corsair and Aviator seem to be what Lincoln is concentrating on for all selling. I'm sure no outward appearance is planned but wheel options would be a big plus. My 2 yr lease on 2019 Nautilus Reserve is up in November and would like to stay with Nautilus. Got one of the earliest Nautilus and had a few problems "out of the gate" but dealership & eventually Ford Co. handled them okay.
  23. You stated the obvious. Hope someone from the Lincoln sees your good Post. Guess I should approach my dealership once again on this subject.
  24. Really dresses it up and looks exceptional. Seems like Lincoln Parts department would jump in and offer these through the dealership and make a buck or two. Looked at Detroit Wheel last December for my white Reserve and wondered about quality and such. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
  25. Tech things that I wouldn't have imagined years ago. I started out with a clutch and stick to change gears.
