elijahbird7 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 How easy is it for someone banned from this forum to just create a new profile and continue their agenda? 1 rst08tierney reacted to this
mfam16 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 It depends on the ban. I'm not sure if they can ban based on IP, but even that is not full proof.
akirby Report post Posted November 25, 2016 Can't stop it. But it's usually not hard to figure out sine they usually keep doing what got them banned in the first place. And we can see the IPs.
Cosmos36 Report post Posted November 25, 2016 There's no stopping forum members who are so clinically obsessed with a topic that they can't walk away. Even if banned, they will go to any length in persisting with their obsession, even using surrogates (spouses, friends, family members) to post on their behalf. 1 mfam16 reacted to this
cowboysphan Report post Posted November 25, 2016 Again, here's the type of posts that have to come out to detract from the truth then a locked thread to hide it. rstierney called it right for sure...people on here are the ones creating the "fake" profiles...he SO hit the nail on the head. If you are referring to me using "surrogates" you have some serious issues..whether your IPs match or not you will say they do regardless to ban me like you did to Mmoretti right? Just ask her if akirby tried to "help" her like he claimed. Post the IP records for everyone to see so they can see your "theory" is incorrect. I SPOKE to mmoretti via facebook and you can too. Plus myself and others saw the deleted posts... Ask Mmoretti about how and why her account was banned. This a biased bogus forum like rstierney pointed out. This definitely proves it. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100012259060034&fref=ts

rst08tierney Report post Posted November 25, 2016 What do you have to hide? Probably wants to accurately post about his/her problems with the X. Whats real crazy on Lincolns face book page anything remotely negative gets deleted. Imagine if they invested the time and effort they do for damage control into quality control. The brand would thrive with out using smoke and mirrors. I feel bad. I really do. I love my country and want to support American brands. Hopefully they pull things together for 2017
jbiggs Report post Posted November 25, 2016 I'm getting ready to order an MKX in the next two weeks and I certainly hope that there are no quality issues with it. It will be my first Ford product since I said "Never again" when I got rid of my '94 Explorer. I've been impressed with my friend's '16 Edge and even more impressed with the MKX. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who owns one that can give me candid feedback on how they like their vehicle. That's why forums like these are so important. Jbiggs Your post is not in correct place but to answer your question. Things to look out for 1. A & B pillar moulding (may be building or not fully seated) 2. Rear cupholder in center console ( mine was broken) 3. USB hub inside front console (may be loose or not secure) 4. Check paint on roof and around sensors (may be irregular) 5. Check and make sure all exterior trim and doors line up. I believe these are the most common complaints. Some people had bad experiences. I can mainly speak for myself. After purchasing one we decided to get another. Our second MKX had 3 small trim issues but dealer fixed immediately without hesitation. Aside from that both are great and I've recommended it to friends & family
cowboysphan Report post Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) Whats real crazy on Lincolns face book page anything remotely negative gets deleted. Imagine if they invested the time and effort they do for damage control into quality control. The brand would thrive with out using smoke and mirrors. Hit the nail on the head once again, but most don't get that or refuse to accept and get that. Instead of denying, try fixing.. The point of my original post and feedback FOR LINCOLN, but everyone on here has to take it to a personal level because they cannot handle nor refute the truth. Smoke and mirrors for sure.... The more its hidden the less Lincoln will be able to fix it..and the less value in your vehicles. Edited November 25, 2016 by cowboysphan
akirby Report post Posted November 26, 2016 For that last time, nobody here has prevented anybody from documenting problems or poor dealer experiences. I guarantee that. And we're not going to start. But what you're doing is coming to this forum and starting arguments and fights with anyone who dares to disagree with you, then you start attacking both me and the regular members. You're adding nothing constructive to these discussions and you're disrupting so many topics and you don't even own a MKX. It's not about whether Lincoln has problems or not it's about your behavior towards other members and the moderator. 5 mtmtmt, mosh00, VisionPilot and 2 others reacted to this
