Hi All,

 Can you use the new A7 sync card in a 2014 MKX. I have the A5 now.

This SD CARD will replace your current version A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 & A6 SD Card. This SD card will only work on some Ford/Lincoln vehicles with 8-inch MyFord Touch or MyLincoln Touch Navigation that have been activated. Compatible Models 2014 AND UP Ford Edge / Explorer / Focus / Escape / Flex / Fusion / F150 / Taurus 2013 and up Ford Edge / Explorer / Focus / Escape / Flex / Fusion / F150 / Taurus 2012 and up Ford Edge / Explorer / Focus 2011 and up Ford Edge / Explorer 2014 AND UP Lincoln MKS / MKT / MKX 2013 and up Lincoln MKS / MKT / MKX 2011 2012 Lincoln MKX NOTE: 2011 and 2012 vehicles may require to update SYNC Software, if your system currently using Version A1 or A2. 1. Determine your SYNC Software Version a. Go to your vehicle, on the home screen press the “settings” icon b. Press the “Help” button c. Press the “System Information” button d. The third line displays your software version e. Record the numbers after “CCPU S/W Version”: __. __ __.__ __ __ __ __ f. Record the Map Database Version: __ __ (i.e. A4, B4) 2. Look at the last five digits of the CCPU S/W Version and choose one of the actions below Lastfivedigits: Action: Greater than or equal to 12285 Continue to purchase 10337, 11038, 11063, 11081, 11134, 12023, 12156 Visit support.ford.comor support.lincoln.com to update your SYNC software, then return to purchase the map update. 10212, 10308, 12058 Your vehicle requires a software update from the dealer. Please contact your local dealer to schedule an appointment. 3. If your Map Database Version is A6 or B6, you have the latest map update currently available

If you got Sync3, stop looking as you would not ave one.
