atmkx Report post Posted April 25, 2016 When I ordered my "16 X a few weeks ago we agreed to a price a few hundred dollars over invoice, which was a little less than the "x-plan" that I qualify for. The incentive at the time (which I locked in and will also get) was $1500 plus the financing specials. My salesman said there may be "x-plan money" available when it comes in, which would make the price lower. Does anyone know what this "x-plan money" is? akirby Report post Posted April 26, 2016 He's referring to additional rebates for X plan buyers. Sometimes there are some, most times not. It usually occurs when there is dealer cash involved - that way the buyer gets that and not the dealer.
greyfox47 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 My experience with x-plan having bought 3 vehicles through the plan is that it is a no haggle pricing structure available to partner companies' employees and retirees through Ford Motor Company. If your company is partner with x-plan, there is a website https://www.partnerrecognition.com/where you would enter a company specific partner code. Everything from there is pretty self explanatory. Quite honestly, I've never heard of a dealer offering so-called x-plan money unless you first present the paper showing your x-plan pin.
