Have a 2008 MKX that the driver's side mirror has popped out of the housing. Can't figure out if it clips back in or if an adhesive was used. Mirror is fine, but pops out when door is closed. Not sure if I need to get a replacement.

Anybody else experience this problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks-

First that I heard of this happening.  Check out MotorCraft.com.  They have a parts catalog and sometimes they show an exploded view.

Happen to me before with an older bmw... gorrilla glue it back in place... never fall out again. Just be safe it is exactly where it should be so the housing doesn't interfere with the mirror when adjusting.
