My wife has a 2013 MKX with dual climate control. We are having a problem with the driver side blowing heat and the passenger side blowing cold air even though the temperature is set at the same temperature for both sides. Any thoughts and/or fixes would be greatly appreciated if you have dealt with the same issue.

Probably the blend door actuator.   Do a forum search over at fordedgeforum.com - very common.
