Anyone going to the New England auto show (Jan 11-15th)?  Hoping to see Nautilus there (and other cars) and hoping it's not locked up and hands off but probably will be....

The Lincoln concierge just told me today that order banks for the Nautilus should open in April 2018.  I would surmise production would start a couple of months or so after that?

Around June/July I think.  They haven't posted the exact timeline yet.

Could you find out if the new 2019 Edge paint Agate Black is a metallic paint?

Is the Nautilus at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show?  I do not see any coverage or pictures.  Does anyone know if the Nautilus is at the Detroit Auto Show or have pictures they can share with us?

First post in this forum. I really like the exterior changes to the Nautilus, but disappointed in interior. Wish the sync screen was more like the new Navigator.
Any information on the size of the screen? Is it still 8 inches? My 2013 Fusion had an 8 inch screen as does my 2017 MKZ. Lincoln needs to up their game here to remain competitive. I was surprised when the Continental was introduced with an 8 inch screen too. The 10 inch screen of the Navigator should be available to all Lincolns. The Navigator’s look is more refined and more in line with luxury European models.

This is just a MCE (mid cycle refresh). You’re not going to see an all new interior in a MCE.

Doesn't have to be all new it is not unusual to have an update like this for MCE. Though some things were this should be something done too it actually should have one for MY 16 to be honest.

Totally agree.  They missed a real opportunity here.  I know it's only a refresh but they should have changed the center stack.  That's the only thing holding me back.  Lincoln needs to gain market share and that interior isn't going to help.  Still keeping it on my list but disappointed....

It can be done but Ford is not going to make a change that drastic mid cycle. That’s not something you can just swap out parts for. I’m sure it will be in the next gen.

It isnt THAT drastic it happens all the time. Obviously they focused on the outside and not inside.

So you don't think going from this:

to this:

message-editor%2F1497985545526-2018-linc

constitutes a drastic change to the interior?   Mmkay.

Honestly, I like the mkx interior. Just add nice materials and if release despite the relatively smsll screen.

Most of the big screens out there are not touchscreens and very few are as elegant as sync 3.

Akirby I honestly not sure what you are arguing it doesn't have to be a full interior change. The fact is they could it happens all the time in the industry Acura did it going from on screen to two in a mid cycle refresh. The point of of the op was that 8 in is not enough and frankly it wasn't in 2016 when it was all new it good / fine whatever i.like it but already behind the competition with 10 and 12 in units.

Because you guys are saying it’s easy to do and it’s not. Of course they COULD do it. They could have come out with a completely new vehicle but it’s not cost effective to make those kinds of changes mid cycle.

The worst part is that it's not really eight inches. It's only five. The guys down at lincoln have been lying to their girlfriends about that for years.

This is just a MCE (mid cycle refresh). You’re not going to see an all new interior in a MCE.

So you think the MKX/Nautilus will have an 8” screen for how many more years?
It should be thought as more than a mid cycle refresh. It is the beginning of a new model, The Nautilus.
