Have a 2016 MKX with the revel ultima system got in it this morning and the drivers lower door speaker sounds like it's the bastard child of a 1988 modem connecting to the internet and sega endura racer...

Any ideas? Helllllp... vrooom squeak squeal bop is getting old fast.

It's under warranty, take it to the dealer. Probably a bad amp.

Had this happen once around 10 or 12K, has to be a screw up in the computer for the active noise cancellation or the engine/exhaust note. Radio was off at the time, shut it down and restarted, nothing since..

This happened to me the other night when I got in the car after grocery shopping. There was no way to get it to stop. Even turned the entertainment off and still the high pitched squeal kept going. You could hear it when you accelerated through the speaker. I even shut the car off and restarted and still no luck. I got home and about 30 minutes later started it up and no issues. First issue I have had like that.

Same thing just happened to me tonight. 9300 miles. Man this is loud. Has anyone had this fixed yet? If so what is it? Active cancellation?

As far as I can tell from driving the car with the top open the actual engine noise is not different from what I hear inside. I wonder how much difference the speaker really makes; it's not like it's trying to make a l4 sound like a v8.

Noise cancellation too. I wish we had an option to turn it off just to see how much of a difference it makes. It is really quiet in the car. I also have bose headphones and where I turn them on it is amazing the difference it makes.
