Can anyone tell me what the blue icons are on the attached image?  Unbelievably, I can't find any sort of description of all the icons...  This is a Nav screen, Sync 3, v2.2.

Thanks!

I'm using an older version of navigation, but on mine this icon is simular to what I see when there are multiple poi's in the same location. (Need to tap to see what they are).

I drove a 2017 MKX loaner and (from memory) you can select which icons you want to appear on the map by tapping the map, then a menu appears across the bottom, select poi (or maybe it was poi icons) and you get a list of icons to display on tbe screen. Just run through these icons to see if you can find a match. If no match is found, my guses is, it's a generic icon to indicate multiple icons at the same location.

I tried tapping on them but nothing happens with it icons I think it just centers the map there...  Will try again.

The POI icons are turned off I believe, though I do see P for Parking icons when I get into town.  I didn't see this icon on the list you describe though.

Gotta be toll booths!  Not sure how the icon relates to toll booths though.

Two coins on a road?

Same symbol also shows on US 50, a non-toll road.

Yes, I noticed same symbol on a non-toll road.

Could it represent both exits, tollbooths, and maybe entrances?

Very confusing.

I have those symbols too and have found no way to remove them. Here in LA we have roads that aren't toll roads but have toll lanes. The idea is that you get charged if you ride in the premium lane that had less traffic. I see that blue symbol as I approach work downtown.

You cannot undetectable those icons in the poi dialog, which is annoying.

Were you able to figure out what this icon represents?

I was playing with my destination screen and found under "edit route" another screen titled "edit traffic preferences". Clicked and got another screen that had a tab titled "traffic icons to overlay on map". Clicking the "select from list"box brings up a list of icons that can overlay the map with icons such as weather related isdues, road work, incidents, accidents and road closures.

Now none of those icons matched what you posted, but I have an 09 and certainly they have added to this list in later years. Suggest you run the menus and see what the icon means. (In still curious).

PS you can also turn these special icons on and off from this screen, or just turn off selected ones.
