I have a 2008 MKX.  Both mirrors wont move when the switch is pushed left so I am assuming the switch is bad.  I have not verified this by any test so I have ordered a new switch for under $30.  My question is I have not had a chance to look at the switch but I assume you just get under it with a small screw driver to pop it off.  Is this correct or is there something else I must do?  Thanks in advance!

I would guess the switch as well.

I have a service manual for 09 & 10 models, if their the same for the 08, you can't just pop out the switch. (It must be released from the back).

First remove the "Front door control switch bezel" (door armrest).

Then disconnect the electrical connector.

Then pinch in the two locking tabs on the side of the switch in & remove the switch by pulling up.
